This app is very helpful for learning Russian. You can learn hundreds of words and phrases. A word is spelled in Russian, and has an English phonetic word to help you pronounce it and the word or phrase is spoken in very clear Russian. I an learning with Duolingo and this is a great help. There are even organized flashcards for study and testing. AND NO ANNOYING ADS. A big plus for me+++++

The ability to slow down the speech would allow listeners with hearing challenges a better chance of actually clearly hearing the pronunciation.
