why I hate this speaker and will be returning!

why don’t you get a charger block for a $200 device that has to be charged? why do I need to download app to use this device? This is the second one of jbl I bought, I liked it except for battery life is limited but the sound is outstanding so I keep it plugged in. This last issue I can’t get passed so Im returning it. I would give negative zero if possible.
