Simple and great

Spec is a great way to get more intimate with general cocktail knowledge. It seems like it’s newer but the collection of cocktails leads me to believe the cocktails catalog will be regularly updated.

I do not “sign up” for apps, especially where that is unnecessary. Based on many other 1* reviews I am not alone in this opinion.

There has always been a "continue as guest" option. We obviously didn't do a good job of making this clear and have since made it much easier to login as guest.

Awesome!!!

I’m always looking for classic cocktail recipes, but what I love about this app is they’ve also got some fun/ original recipes in there too! A total find, will be using this baby all the time!

Slick, simple, easy

The best thing about this app is it’s simplicity. It’s easy to navigate, the images are eye-catching, and there isn’t clutter to get lost in.

You can also easily and quickly build your own personal “collection” of favorite recipes using the bookmark function.

The only suggestion would be to create a few more search filters, primarily spirit type/main ingredient.

Overall it’s a winner.

Convenient and quick way to learn how to make most popular mixed drinks. History is interesting as well.

This is very helpful, looks good and is easy to navigate. I wish everything you needed to look up how to make was this straight forward.

Amazing beverage app

Love this app! I used to have to travel to Brooklyn to enjoy a Brooklyn. Now with Spec I can enjoy a nice cold refreshing Brooklyn without having to galavant over to hipster land

Perfect for the Crazy Stupid Love Ryan Gosling wanna be

I mean that in the best way. If you’re into craft cocktails and the history behind them, this app is perfect for you.

Also not sure why everyone is complaining about the data collection - you can click “continue as guest” and have the same functionality as you would if you signed in.

Nice app

This is a good app, especially if you have a well-stocked bar. However, there aren't many recipes that I would use. Ones I want are missing, such as Gin and Tonic, Bloody Mary, Long Island Iced Tea.

Fail. Primary goal is to collect user data

It is an immediate fail when apps like this give you zero use and just require you to fork over personal data to get beyond the first screen. Deleted the app immediately.

Garbage

Almost non-existent database of recipes, no app functionality - all features, including 'change password', are "under development"
Only purpose is to collect your data via registration. Joke of an app.

Not really sure why you need to create an account

They ask you log in as soon as you open the app. Not interesting in giving them my personal information

Can’t use unless you give info

Have to register with them and sign in to use the app. Instant delete.
