This is garbage. A previous reviewer said the rings connect via Bluetooth when plugged in but disconnect when not plugged into outlet. That makes the rings useless. And makes the app useless too. Boo!

Broken
When I loaded the app I was connecting the rings and when I took the charger out of them when I finished, the rings turned off and wouldent connect. The rings were full of charge. And when I unplugged the rings, they went from green to red.
Drops connection
The app and or the specdrums drop the Bluetooth connection as soon as the rings are unplugged, the specdrums also are only discoverable on one iPad when they are all updated to the same iOS.
Fun for a 1 time thing but gets boring
Specdrums is fun at first but just doing it over and over again just makes it more boring and the battery never charges

So I love this game and I just have one note it’s That when I’m listening to my songs there is no pause button so… well I would love if you would install one🥺🥺🥺Overall it’s a fun game,if I were you I would get it also if your thinking about buying this wait I forgot what I was going to say so byeeeeeeeee

… I wish there were how-to’s to play some songs like lessons but with popular music if you can do that that would be great.

Not enough accessibility
I got one of these; SpecDrum rings for Christmas, and I am blind. I opened the app and could figure some things out, but everything is unlabeled except for the buttons at the bottom and the connect button. Also there is a button labeled button and if I push anything in there it kicks me out. Also, I don't know if this exists, but it doesn't for me. It would be nice if I could import sounds from the files app as I have sounds that would sound cool to me. Otherwise the app is OK, it just needs some accessibility to the blind. A recommendation for that is to label the piano buttons with their color instead of what I think is showing the color.

I’m a kid and my parents allowed me to write a review so the Specdrums app and the set is amazing I had a superb time dancing with my dad.

my friend got the ring for me as a christmas gift and ive already used it for a couple hours... it’s so entertaining and there are hundreds of tracks to choose from. so far have encountered no problems. i love it💖

One note
I made a pack for my cousin to create and record stuff for and what we wanted as a loop we put in the right place but it won’t play as one I don’t know if that’s how it works or not but we were all sad that his scream couldn’t be played over and over again.

Even if I don’t have the rings, I still love this game. The best part is, you don’t have to have a subscription to get packs!
Sphero robot
I wish that you could use the Sphero ball to do stuff in this app at least make the robot react to the music that would be so cool!
Amazing App!
This app can be used in 3 ways with different functions. You can DJ through the app with your fingers, buy the $99.99 Sphero Specdrum DJ Mat and Finger Drums, and you can use your phone case (if it’s an Apple Store Rubber Case) in a colorwise way where the color corresponds to the beat on the iOS device. The sound quality is amazing, especially if you play the song through a pretty good speaker or headset. I play my made songs through my AirPods and the sound is great, any EarPods that come with the iPhones sound just as great. I also play the recorded songs through my Beats Speaker. This is a 5-star for sure. 👌👌👌👍👍👍😃😃😃 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
