Something seems to be missing
This keyboard really has a lot but for the life of me I cannot find the exit. Once in this keyboard there appears to be no “globe” key to switch to another keyboard option. I had to delete it to get back to my default keyboard. iPad 11 Pro IPadOS 17

Do not download this app, it does not work and it is also not free. After downloading it, it tells me to ‘upgrade’.

So to use this keyboard the developer wants full access to everything you type OR have EVER typed INCLUDING CREDIT CARD NUMBERS etc.

Hi OranguDan, While your review is a little old and the app has been updated since, I want to assure anyone reading it that Character Keyboard will never record you input and never has. Nothing you type using this keyboard is captured. The app has no internet connectivity features and everything stays local on the phone, unless you are deliberately sending something you’ve written to someone. Full Access is only needed to pass data FROM the parent app TO the keyboard, to unlock all characters if you decide to buy the in-app-purchase upgrade. It can be disabled after that, or just left off from the start, if the base character set is enough for your needs. - David

Awesome app, but ...
I bought this app to get nice solid Up and Down Arrow selections. Unfortunately, I was disappointed.
In the keyboard that shows the arrows, there Were these nice plain Left and Right Arrow symbols: ← →. However, the keyboard doesn't provide the corresponding Up and Down Arrows that matches this style. All they have are the following: ⇑ ⇓ ⇡ ⇣. If the developer could rectify this issue by adding the corresponding Up & Down arrowa, it would be awesome.
I like how the basic alphanumeric keybard was provided. Now, if it only had the Spellcheck feature, plus the other features from the original iPhone keyboard, then I'll be happy to use this as my main keyboard
I wouldn't even mind paying a bit more for it (especially if I could also get decent Up and Down Arrows)

This app costs 1.99 don't waste your time with it
This app downloads for free, but to actually use anything besides the basic characters, you must pay 1.99. "Offers in app purchases." Yes, including the actual app. Pass.

I downloaded this keyboard, but no characters came with it? Very confused. What is the point?
Just selective keyboard appears
I want to have the setting where just the math symbol keyboard appears. I do not need other keyboard, I still like the stock keyboard for basic typing, but I need easy access to the math symbol. It would be best if this can be set up by the user.
Near perfect app
I absolutely love the characters that come with this keyboard. They'll be very useful for my college classes. There are just two small bugs that need fixing: swiping to see different characters needs to be disabled (or at least give us the option to disable it). If I'm typing the keyboard sometimes recognizes a tap as a swipe and it won't type the character. Also, the tab button does not work. Other than that the keyboard is really awesome and I'll definitely be using it! (also, what's with the hide button?)
