App won’t let me log
I’m using the same password from the website and the app keep saying invalid credentials
Disappointed
Downloaded this app in the hopes it would be easier to look up available tequilas and read their flavor profiles. Although the tequilas are there, their flavor profiles are not. But if you go online, there they are. What good is the app then?

Terrible app all around. Gave my money to Total Wine.
No Results
Anytime I search for something I always get “No Results”. I can click on a brand they have listed and still get “No Results”. I’ve tried to use the app many times and it never works. So disappointing!

Ads kill the app
Although the search function has not been great as long as I have used the app, it is the last update that has made me remove it. At first there was a nag screen that kept popping up when starting up and frequently thereafter that could only be closed by going to the app store to update (and then just return to the non-updated app without applying the update in order to use the old app). Finally giving in, I downloaded the update. Now it is treating me to a full page ad that has to be dismissed after every search. Good-bye app. At least the web site hasn’t been fouled up yet.

Search Not Working
When searching for any item it says “no results”
Stops music with dumb sound effect
It’s really annoying when apps take over your audio and cause your music or audiobook to stop playing just to play some stupid sound effect. Please fix this!

Latest update makes the app freeze and close when searching and filtering
Key Club Broken
Since the update, can’t access key club points. Please fix.

Ads Killed this app
The Specs app used to be relatively easy and straightforward to use, however they recently added in “sponsored” bottles in the search results which completely clutters the screen and degrades the UX of this app. There are popups on the Home Screen that are hard to click out of and take you to a search that only shows you the promoted items, even when you try to search something else.
Additionally, they have audio that plays when you open it, which kills any streaming music.
Frankly they’re losing my business based on the fact Total Wine and More’s app has a much cleaner UI and has ad-free search results which makes it much easier to confirm they have what I’m looking for.

App Crashes constantly
I love shopping at Specs but this App is the worst.. Won’t let you change stores without crashing and app has error messages. I’ve installed and uninstalled about a dozen times with the same result.. Fix your app Specs!
Poor app with several glitches
Even after the most recent update this app continues to have several functional deficiencies. I literally just abandoned my entire cart and made my purchase with their well known competitor.
Error occurred
Recently this app has been very glitchy and now I can even use it. I get an error when I open the app that says “Some error occurred while executing your request.” And cannot use at all on the latest version. Also when it was working, I cannot search for bottles from all stores around me. Instead the app forces you to select each store to search individually. Not ideal if you live in a large city with dozens of Specs.

Good store, bad app
App is very buggy. No longer able to scan in their loyalty program, instead you have to keep it in each time. Whenever you go back a level on a search, it takes you to the home screen rather than listing the alternatives in the original search menu. I would expect the app could be much better in 2025.

Completely unusable app
Tried to sign up, tells me to enter my email. Entered my email and clicked “sign up” and it asks me for a password, which I don’t have because I haven’t set up an account yet. I’d expect better from a big chain store like this. Makes me want to not even shop here and visit the smaller stores to be honest.

I had never had problems before this latest update. Terrible update, I won’t use it anymore.
