Fun game but reporting small bug
Super fun and straightforward game. Reporting a small bug though…. I bought the expansions. When playing as Sorcerer in League of Heroes, it crashes out of the game each time I cast Sonic Boom. That’s not fun. Please fix!

This game would receive 5 stars if the developer updated the app more frequently. It always gets to the point where it starts crashing before an update is applied.
Best app if bug fixed
I have played the game for nearly 16 years discontinuously, from ipad mini first gen to now the ipad pro. Always a great game to play. Happy to be able to play now, but could be more delightful if the broken bug fixed when using power chain or time zoom. It should be surely 5 stars app without this annoying bug.

Amazing
This game is a true gem. Partly made by the mind behind magic the gathering, it has some similarities to magic, but appreciable differences. The game is FUN to play, and addictive in my case. It is not a money grabber either. You pay the up front price, then you can unlock a few decks for a few bucks extra if you choose. That’s it…. It’s exactly what I needed… something that’s not magic, but plays like magic. The game has a very nostalgic feel to it as well…. Love it.

Incredible AI
A superb card game which does t confuse breadth for depth, and combines this with an AI that really seems to get the game and is completely capable of challenging you without seemingly cheating. Campaign is just a good fun excuse to play with the mechanics in various scenarios. As good today as it was on release.

Great Great Great
I’ve played Spectro since the beginning, way back in my PC days with this game. I still love this game. I am so thankful for the developers putting up a patch here at IOS 16. Thank you! If you ever decide to add more expansions, I’m in. Honestly everybody, where Magic the Gathering is a great game, albeit rather bloated, from the fun days up until Urza’s Saga/Mercadia’s masks, this game remains fun in a similar but different way WITHOUT being a money hog. This satisfies my fantasy ‘card-like’ game desires in so many ways.

I thought this was no longer available on IOS, or that it didn’t work anymore but after a recent upgrade Spectromancer on the IPad and iPhone seems to work just fine. I’m back to enjoying the crap out of this. It’s one of my top solo favorites. I’ve not played recently online so don’t have any notes there though I seem to recall it working in async mode (my favorite way to play most games).

Please fix rotation issue on iPadOS 16 PLZ.
This is one of my favorite game! I recommended it to my many friends. Since I updated iPadOS 16 the application has rotation issue. it is still working, but stays in portrait mode instead of in landscape mode. I’m hopping you’ll fix this issue. Thank you in advance. Also “Astral Masters” is my another favorite game, which is not in the AppStore anymore, nether in my purchased list. As I know you create this game too, If so, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Bring it back to alive (I love Astral Masters more then Spectromancer, but they both are my besties). 🙏

Game no longer works
I used to really like this game, but it’s been completely forgotten by its developers. Even up to recently you could bypass some of the Bugginess by opening, then minimising and then going back to it, but it would crash after about 10 minutes. After the latest IOS release, it won’t even open right to be able to play - don’t buy until they fix this

You are stucked with the name “Player”
Is there anybody gonna mention here that you cannot change your character name in Single or Campaign mode for that matter as it automatically crashes when you start typing. I love the game as it reminded me of Astral Tournament and Astral Masters card battle strategy style that is similar to Magic the Gathering. I don’t have any issues with the entire game but ATTENTION to the Developers, please fix this crashing issue even if its just a little deal.

Great card game
Excellent and addictive card game
Used to be great, but not updated in years
This used to be one of my favorite games for the iPad. I mean, it was developed by Richard Garfield (of Magic: The Gathering fame) and was just so much fun to play. After years of not playing, I reinstalled it and was having a blast. But then it got very buggy. Main menu screen buttons wouldn’t work (switching to Home Screen and then back or rotating 180 degrees fixes this) and it crashed rather frequently. Now, in the middle of a League of Heroes tournament, I can’t go one turn without the game crashing. Force quitting, restarting iPad, and reinstalling the game doesn’t work. This is a 5 star game with so many catastrophic bugs that I can’t give it more than 2 stars. Looks like 1 star if I can’t get it to play for more than 5 seconds. Such a shame.

Rotate your iPad to get it working
The game hasn’t been updated in a very long time, so you have to rotate your iPad to get it to work. But once it is working, it’s great!

Absolute no response to any clicks iOS 14.5 iPad Pro 12.9” 2nd gen After a half dozen tries, no success, today buttons are live on first try. Will try to play and adjust rating.

One of the best card battlers.
I’d had this back when it was still available for iPhone. I’d forgotten just how good this game is. There is a lot of gameplay for not much money, with solo games, leagues, and a campaign. And for a few bucks more you can unlock sets of additional characters and their card sets for even more variety. Highly recommended.

Je jouais déjà sur pc.Ce jeu es super. Une traduction FRANÇAISE serait génial car plusieurs de mes amis achèteraient si il était en français. J’ai acheté toutes les extensions et ne regrette vraiment pas. Cependant, dès que je veux changer le nom du personnage le clavier n’est pas optimisé et le jeu crash et se ferme :( svp serait génial de régler ça car ça ne vient pas de mon appareil (IPAD 6 2018 128gb) Merci beaucoup aux développeurs j’adore ce jeu qui me rappelle Astral tournament sur pc . Un bijoux à posséder absolument. 😀👍🏻

Main screen freeze fix. Love this game!
I never write reviews and this will be my first ever. But I absolutely love this game. I wish more people would check it out and wish they still had the iPhone version.
To fix the issue with it hanging on the home screen. Make sure auto rotation lock is turned off on your iPad. Make sure to flip the iPad 180 degrees and the screen will turn rotation, then do it again the other way and then it works. The keyboard is wonky but once you log in once you’ll never have to deal with it again.

Was good but now unplayable
The game hangs on the main screen. None of the buttons work and it hasn’t been updated in years. Precisely why I don’t buy games on the iPad anymore. No regulation and games eventually become unplayable.
The buttons won’t work.
I’ve played Spectromancer on the pc for years and just tried to load it on my iPad and it plays the background music but none of the buttons work. I updated my iPad and it’s supposedly compatible but nothing works in this game. Please help!
