Decent app
The problem with most handheld spectrometers is that the interface to access the data is horrible. The spectrum genius app does a good job of allowing you to quickly access spectral data. I wish the program gave you a way to email multiple data files at once. If you are in the field and take multiple readings you have to send each reading as an individual email.

This requires a purchased hardware device. It does not work from your camera. It is a useless app unless you have purchased their hardware. You don't want it.
