I’m a patient with aphasia
This app is a very important piece of my recovery from a stroke and its resultant aphasia. I come back to this app frequently to work on my phonation and my comprehension of phonemes. As my recovery continues into its third year post-stroke, I’m hoping for a much larger word list and much longer words of 4-7 syllables. If that requires a separate app, I’d be most happy to pay for it.

It's easy to use and great for so many uses. My students with CAS have really improved using this app as well as with my students with articulation difficulties. The customer service is superb and I use this app all the time! There are a plethora of words and my students LOVE this app!!!

This is a GREAT app!! You can use it in a variety of ways and settings! It's been an effective tool for my CAS patients. When I purchased it I noticed that the sound would not transfer to my Bluetooth speaker, so I sent Tactus an email asking for help. They responded immediately and released an update in less than a week fixing the problem! Great customer service!! Really dedicated to improve the apps to fit your needs!! Thank you!!

This is a must have app for SLPs or SLPAs working with children. I use this app for blending, phonemic awareness, and articulation. I do with there was a way to select the number of visual wheels so that CV words or multisyllabic words could also be targeted.
Flip book fun
This app was good for articulation therapy for children. They enjoy flipping through the words. Also good for literacy development through rhyming words.
Wonderful app!
This app is a versatile therapy tool for pediatrics up through geriatrics. I love the ability to isolate certain clusters and vowels. It is a worthwhile app that will help to target articulation and intelligibility in various populations.

I love using this app in therapy. It's great that you can pick as many or as few sounds as you'd like to work on at a time. This is the first app I've found that has this capability. The clients love flipping to the next word and the older kids appreciate the fact that it doesn't have babyish pictures. You can also practice phonics with your students who are learning to read.

A flip book you can have with you at all times!
A flip book with ALL consonants and vowels you can have with you at all times! You can select the initial and final sounds (or no initial or final sounds for practicing VC and CV syllables) you want by individual phoneme(s), by place of articulation (bilabial, dental, etc.) or by manner of articulation (nasal, etc.). Speech Flip Book
I use this app to develop phonemic awareness and phonics skills, along with providing articulation practice. Working with older students, the design of this app encourages my kids without being too juvenile for them but also provides practice with lower level, single syllable skills which many of my students still need. I like how you can design the syllable complexity to meet the needs of the individual student. Nice app!

Would be 5 star if there was the option of including pictures to match some of the sounds, or of once a word was made a picture could illustrate the meaning. Would make it really useful for working with younger children or kids that need more visual cues.
More than just speech
As an elementary school SLP, most of my kdg referrals are for unintelligible speech. These students usually also have great difficulty learning their phonological awareness skills in the classroom. This app lets you kill two birds with one stone. They learn to associate a letter with a sound, how to identify where their sound is in a word, how to blend the sounds into a word, and how to make new words by changing one sound ... all the things they struggle with in class. Anytime we can give this kind of support to the curriculum is a win-win situation. Using a self-monitoring rubric with this has also been hugely successful with the apraxic kids. Awesome! Now let's talk about developing that rubric into an app! My only issue has been getting the pages to actually flip, but that is probably due to my screen protector. Let's face it, in the school setting you do a lot of sanitizing!

Must-have app for speech
This app has really made a difference in such a short amount of time. Not only are my students enjoying this app, but they are making definite gains in therapy. One student who I have been seeing for apraxia made more progress in two sessions than he has in over a year. He was delighted, and so am I! This app is definitely one that I will use over and over again.
