Very good I would recommend this to anyone.
No sense of progress or accuracy
Disappointing. Beware, you don't see what you are speaking as it works. Essentially, you hit the record button, speak your bit, and then it translates the entire batch slowing and invisibly until its done. Only then do you get to see the numerous errors. This makes the app useless.

While using this app during an interview, a verbal comment was actually printed “lipstick on a pig.” I would recommend you look further for an app.

This works great for me. It seems like the kinks have been broke out and the bad reviews here I’m mostly old ones.
Would be 5 star "if" recorded speech rate can be slowed down
Very easy to speak my message and have it recorded and typed. Also very easy to have it translated into Italian. But the okaybqck rate of speech needs to be slowed down, for both languages. So this would be a 5 star app, if there was a setting to slow down the rate of the recorded speech playback. Thank you.

This app is so cool because it's frankly sometimes I don't like to write and it enables me to express my thoughts and it recognizes my accent which is sometimes garbled but this makes my work awesome thanks
useless
this translated only one out of ten words to text correctly. the resulting text sheet looks like gibberish. would like my money back; this doesn't come close to doing what i thought it would.

I love this app! It's been working great for me. My first language is Portuguese and I thought it could be a problem because of my accent, but it recognizes all that I say most of the time. Great app!
Junk, always bogus errors
Product does not work for very long without coming up with bogus, non-sensical errors after which it completely shuts down and cannot be rebooted - I give it ONE star- junk - FIX IT or you won't get any more sales.

It's the best and I've tried them all. None of these last longer than 60 secs.

The app is almost all purpose. Would give it a higher rating but it does not keep paragraphing when you convert to email. Dragon, also by Nuance, and upon which this may be based keeps the paragraphing. Translations not bad. Otherwise, quite good
Speech Recognizer HD Needs A Makeover
This app needs to be taken down and reevaluated. I thought it could take the recording of a speech in English and give me the written text in English. It gave me about two sentences with many of the words left out, so that when I read it, it made no sense. It stopped when it wanted and then gave error messages about being unable to connect to the speech server. This app should not even be free, so the fact that it costs $3.99 is criminal. How do I get my money back? It's not even a case where I was overusing it...I just bought it to get some work done! It's very disappointing. Please take it down and improve it before trying to give away or worse yet sell it. It's no good!!

Quite Useful
Just tried it to compose and send an email from my iPad mini. I spoke naturally, gave common commands such as "comma," "new paragraph," and "full caps." Allows one to pause (stop recording) to edit within the program, and will pick up from where I position the cursor. Except for proper names, there were very few errors to correct using SA English, at any rate. Haven't tried another language yet, but I am very pleased with this app. Plus, it was free to download, has no annoying ads, and has several sweet options in the way of fonts.
