Too many lost dictations
I used to not lose my 40 minute dictations but, since your ads started, I’ve lost a lot!!! I’ve been very careful to press the ‘x’ to close the ad before I can ‘save’ it but there are times that no ad appears AND the ‘save’ icon does not appear at all. My whole dictation is entirely gone and there’s no way to retrieve it. It’s just gone and I am returned to my Home Screen with nothing but very valuable time lost. My time is too valuable. I will have to try a new app. I have used this app for 2 years but am very disappointed since there ads started and I can’t take the chance of losing any more well thought out dictations. Do not tell that I just need to pay more. I should have been well-informed about the consequences re: ads. I might’ve made another choice and upgraded but it’s too late.

Excellent
Great little app. I use it to make notes about my mothers health and medical appointments. I can email them to myself or just save them on my phone. Easily retrieve the notes to remind me of what is happening and what has been said.

Pretty good - just needs a lil upgrade

App works but text font is microscopic. No way to enlarge.
Unable to edit & no instructions for punctuation...
It is very annoying when your accent is not recognized but much more when you are unable to edit the text in the same app. Deleted.

Does not translate what is dictated
I can see every once in a while dictating something different, but not making up its own sentences is pretty weird. I thought at first something else was interfering, but not the case. It’s very, very strange. It has recorded some weird stuff.
Great for deaf people
I used it for the person to talk to me with this app. Like a doctor, at work and anybody. I am happy with it. I hope this app should add to the watch. So, I can read on my watch what the person talk on the mobile the same time. I know it can!
For notes?
What I was actually looking for was speech to text typing. The button is so small and in between the Spacebar and the global sign that it’s really hard to get in there. Typing is becoming a thing of the past and what is really coming up is the speech to texting applications.
Daily notifications? Why???
I don’t need a notification reminding me to use a speech to text app. I keep turning it off but it keeps reminding me. Why??? That’s the most annoying and pointless notification ever. Deleted the app!
Not happy
I believe this is Siri’s cousin. Perhaps buying the product makes it perform better? I’m just tiered of trying that option on apps.
Vulgar language
I did a test of this before taking it to a meeting for notes and I am so glad I did! My test was just to say the Paw Patrol (a child’s cartoon if you aren’t familiar) theme song and I can’t even post a screenshot of what this app interpreted that as. In 2 lines of text there were at least 5 curse words that are very much NOT in the song, plus 90% of it was very inaccurate. I’m disappointed. I was hoping for a useful tool.
