User reviews

Needs fixing!

Same as previous review, this should be a brilliant app but it constantly drops out & shows the speed limit as N/A. This renders the app useless.
My phone has a good 5G connection but the app is ‘unable to reach server’ - some problem with the back end of things? It also gets the road names wrong & can be several streets out.
Shame.

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. “N/A” can appear when there’s no street information or when the GPS signal hasn’t updated. The “unable to reach server” message usually points to a temporary backend issue. I just tested it and it’s working fine again, so it was likely just a brief server hiccup. For a smoother experience, try using the offline mode. It updates faster and only shows streets that match your driving direction. I really appreciate you giving the app a try.

Reduce ticket chance

The only time maps shows the posted speed limit is when you’re on a route. This fills that gap. You still need to look for speed signs because the online info is not always up to date. The only thing I would ask is to enable the app to work with car play.

What might be

In principal this is a wonderfully conceived App and exactly what I wanted, but despite subscribing I couldn’t get the offline option working and in online mode it falls out and shows N/A way to often to be useful. I sent the developer a message looking for advice, but no reply. Which saddens me as in concept it is great.
