Okay app, but it’s too broken for $5 per month
But there’s some serious issues too. Half your books won’t be able to be “formatted for speed reading” requiring you to convert to it to another format before it works. Also the timer function is pretty broken, and despite the apps claims of showing your reading stats it just tells you how many days it took you to read a book which is math I can easily do myself. Personally I was hoping for an average wpm.
I could live with these flaws if the app costed less, but after an undefined amount of time you get hit with a paywall of $5 per month or $16 per year. The yearly price is okay-ish, it’s cheaper than it’s competitors, but i’m not convinced this app will still exist or be updated at all in a year.
All in all, Outread is the same price monthly, but it’s infinitely better. And it’s like $4 more per year if you do the yearly plan, but again, it doesn’t have as many issues and it comes with stuff like exercises to improve your speed reading, and the option to speed read like you would a physical book, going across the page.

Hello, Why did you write this review? To say that developer is bad? We live in the world, and we all want to eat. If I take from you just 3$ per month you will not die in cause of no money. By the way, apple take from developers 100$ per year. And 30% of your 3$, that you pay. If you think that we are greedy - we spend money too. We don't work for free, please understand it too. If you prefer to use free apps - please use it, but why did you leave bad review? You mislead new users. I want to say more - You can use app for free! Several restrictions, but in general you can use it for free, and you write review that I'm a bad developer? Thank you so much, dear Ninos Best regards
