Update desperately needed
This app is great but the developers must update for future iOS. If not, this app will no longer be compatible. Hopefully the developers haven't abandoned this.

A very simple app with a number of tips for speed reading. I learned a thing or two even though I had previously read a bunch of web pages about speed reading.

Wow, that is fast!
I just downloaded this app and only 3 mins into reading some tips I have already increased my reading speed! I am considering purchasing the online course. I'm an adult who just returned to college for my third degree and between school, work and family, I need a way to save time. Studying using speed reading techniques is definitely going to help me free up some time.

If one does not read, how on earth one expects to learn new concepts?

Excellent free app with not too much pressure to access their high-powered tools; good for me since I am retired and don't have work or school material to review. Numerous ways to improve reading speed and comprehension as much as one wants, the way one wants, adjustable for the type of material one reads.

I took a speed reading course a few decades ago and found it beneficial, but any skills honed are quickly forgotten or lost without daily practice. This app is a good tutorial with many of the same bits of guidance that I learned years ago.
The same guidance still applies. Learn the basics and practice much and often. Too bad there is not an accompanying free app with loads of text that can be used to scroll at varying speeds applying the guidance this app has.
Of course, any book can be pulled off a shelf and used to practice. Digital readers can be used too but the motion and swiping does not seem to be as effective.
This instructional material is a very good starting point for those who want to improve their reading abilities.

I'm a college student and this quick read app really helped me prepare for my midterms. Especially with their "deadline technique", I've noticed my reading speed amazingly double, and I don't have to reread as much either! I'm definitely not intimidated anymore from lengthy reading assignments, and I have more spare time now to finish reading my game of thrones novels!
