Has this been abandoned
I can't say there is anything specifically wrong with app, but that in 2 years it has never had or needed an update, gives the impression that the app has been abandoned, and for that reason question the security and integrity
Fast app but limited info
Hi the speed test was faster than Ookla but it only listed the up and download speeds. No network info.

Seems to be a more true reflection of realtime download/upload speeds (compared to the other speedtest apps I’ve used regularly; they seem quite a bit more optimistic.)
Easy and add free
Nice clean interface and it does exactly what it should. I'm assuming this is used when analysis and rating service providers and it's great to be able to contribute. I see the app has the ability to limit data use. On my uncapped connection at home, I really don't mind the app using any amount of data. With the continued data theft of very expensive data from our cell phone networks and taking into account that 5G is starting to become available, it would be great if the app limited data use on a cellular connection automatically.

Best tester for your network speeds locally
Used quite a bit of apps to test the network speed and MyBroadband is by far the best. bonus for not having annoying ads like other apps
Fails at its core function
Results are wildly inconsistent with 150Mbps difference between tests run within seconds of each other.
Easy and informative.
The app was super simple and easy to use, showing the details of your network. It also holds records for previous speed tests so you can compare different days and times.
