Lost my but plug
This app was very helpful to retrieve my lost but plug. I used it to trace back my steps the following morning to find it. It must have fallen out when I took a poo in a bush. 5 star app highly recommended 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
WTH?!?!??? Over 4GB of data?
I went to do an iOS update & got the dreaded Apple message that the 2GB update needs 15.3 GB of space to run & I click to review Storage to see what I can delete. I was shocked when the third largest app was Speed Tracker. I probably haven’t used this 20 times over the years, honestly forgot it was there, but it’s got 4.59 GB of Documents & Data? This is definitely gonna get deleted but I’m gonna do a forensic extraction at work today & see what’s in here for that much space. Highly avoid!

A few updates ago this app was working top notch. It worked very fast and there was no really lag with the GPS or anything of the sort after these past updates. It has gotten really laggy so that means there’s times where if you speed all the way up and then slow down it won’t get your top speed because of that. And lately it’s been freezing up a lot.

Since the last update
As of today’s date 22nd of September 2025 the app has completely stopped working for some reason. Hopefully there is an app update soon . 🤞
Not a bad app for trip tracking
It’s great for tracking those rides (I use this on the motorcycle) and to review them later.
Also, having a large visible Speedo that is accurate is vital where our roads here in Australia are being more and more speed restricted and heavier use of speed detection technology is being deployed.
One thing that is missing is Apple CarPlay. I use a CarPlay device called CHIGEE on my bike and would love to integrate this app into it.
Finally, being able to see average moving speed on the display would be great. We now have point to point cameras which measure a vehicle’s average speed and if you exceed a set average speed over that distance you can be fined.

Today (6th Sept 25) I used it for the first time with my iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The phone sits in a cradle on my motorcycle in the “horizontal” orientation.
I have orientation set to auto. I tried it in horizontal-only mode, too. However, it does not want to rotate and when it eventually does the numbers in the displayed trip computer are shown sideways.
When I stopped I could not see the button to finish tracking the ride. Only the pause resume button was displayed.
Other than that the app performed ok.
