Stopped working at all

Now it doesn’t even tell me what speed I’m going, it never did download the db.

Would be great if it worked

I left the app running for two hours so i could download the speed limits like it was saying it was doing. It didn’t work. I deleted and reinstalled the app and did the same, it still didn’t work. the speedometer works great and the circle fills up as you increase your speed, which is the main reason i downloaded this app. I wanted an app where i would be able to see how close I am to the speed limit through my peripheral vision easily and also have it alert me if i was a little heavy on the gas. I think this app would be a great pick and lots more people would use it regularly if it had a working speed limit database. it’s disappointing that it doesn’t.

Out of date

I have not seen a correct speed limit yet. Says it’s downloading from data base but limits are consistently incorrect. Bummed I paid for

FAQ

What does the Speedometer by HUDWAY app do?

This app helps drivers monitor their speed and avoid speeding tickets. It displays the current speed limit for the road section you are on and alerts you if you exceed it. It also warns about speed cameras and radars.

What are the key features of this speedometer app?

Key features include knowing the current speed limitation, working in both standard and HUD modes for windshield projection, providing alerts on speed limits and cameras, and functioning offline after the initial internet connection.

How much does the Speedometer by HUDWAY app cost?

The app offers a premium subscription on a yearly basis for $4.99. Payment is charged to your iTunes account, and the subscription automatically renews unless turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

What devices is this app compatible with?

The app is designed for smartphones and tablets. For HUD mode to work effectively in bright daylight, you might need a brighter device screen or the HUDWAY Glass accessory. Continued use of GPS can affect battery life.

When would I use the HUD mode?

HUD mode is useful for a non-distracting visual aid, especially at night, in dusk, or in dull weather. By placing your device near the windshield, the app's display reflects onto it, allowing you to keep your eyes on the road while seeing your speed and alerts.
