best GPS speedo app
worked a charm when i was driving my old Jeep Grand Cherokee and the speedometer crapped out!

love the mapping of a trip but would like more detail for street and road names. Love the app!
Better out there-antiquated
Seemed good for the price, but then after paying I tried to use features claimed (graphing) only to find that the only graph available was the maybe 2 minutes of your most recent location and that the raw data could be saved and used with excel (or other spreadsheet) but I would have to build the spreadsheet to show the graph. I wrote Hans ‘Fritz’ about this and got no reply.
The other thing is it locks up at opening… looks like it working then doesn’t give a reading so be sure to give it a second or two of movement to see if it is activated before driving off.
Much better out there for a few dollars more.

Auxiliary speedometer
I have a car with an intermittent dashboard light. After dark I pull out my cellphone and say, “Seri, open Speedbox”. The size of Speedbox’s numbers are limited only by the size of my cellphone’s screen.
I checked its accuracy in the daylight and it stayed within 1mph of my car’s speedometer.
It keeps track of your average speed, maximum speed, even your altitude and will draw a graph of your speed.
And if you want, you can set a top speed you want to travel and if you exceed that speed it will sound a noise to alert you.
The only problem I have found is with the feedback page, It doesn’t have six stars.

I use it all the time because my speedometer is not calculated and it’s off by about 20 mile an hour somewhere around there so I use the speed meter Speed Box so it’s great thank you

This is a very handy app. I use it to calibrate speedometers on antique vehicles. I use it when I’m on foot to determine how far I’ve gone and how fast. I like it when I am on a antique motorcycle because it tells me my average speed, my maximum speed, the distance in the elevation that I’ve traveled.

Love this app. With two vehicles that have oversized tires and speedometer off, this is takes all the guess work out. Recommended.

Unique and Useful App
I have been using Speed Box for a while now, and I’m continuing to discover some of its features. My favorite aspects of it are the clear digital indication of speed as well as the Almeter, which is nice to have even though I live in what’s generally considered a flat state. The trend graphs are great and all in all this is a wonderful app to have to enhance your driving experience.

I use it every day on my e bike. It works great. very accurate only thing I don’t like is it loses signal every now and then ,so you have to close down the app and restart it.

Habe nur festgestellt, dass ich auf dem IPad nach Anwahl und Test der Kartenversion nicht mehr aus dieser heraus kam.
Musste löschen und neu installieren.
