Has merit, but there exists an unknown sequence of user actions that causes a user's edits to again be replaced by the developer's installation setup.
No Thumbnail
This program would be great if it actually displayed a thumbnail of the website as advertised.
Ok but only launches Safari
It does what it says it does. I just wish it would allow you to pick which browser to launch (Mercury or Skyfire). I just bought it but unfortunately I won't be using it until this feature is implemented.
good premise, needs tidying up
this is a good idea, it works basically, but the two options (thumbalizr + websnapr) for generating the thumbs are a bit hit and miss and populate slowly for some sites, one of the options (hosts) even said limit reached (i had about 12 thumbs) and then displayed that banner on all of them, so clearly some further development and inclusions are required, but fairly decent editor and layout for adding and moving them about / colours etc
and also, if you are like me, who had dozens of links on the home screen, this consoldiates those into one app icon at least where you can, after adding them manually, access them all, i was using this app in place of safari, as when you launch speedymarks and then click on one of your links it closes and then launches safari with that link for you.
the name speedymarks is a little ironic currently...slow to reload thumbs each time opened, and quite slow initially to take you that grid page and render the thumbs - but having said all this, its got potential and would really like the developer to add some better ways to generate the thumbs (without the limits!)
