Disappointing!
Neither is the Spektrum Bluetooth dongle recognized by iPhone or laptop, but this app also doesn’t list the AR631 receiver.
Very disappointing especially when considering the premium pricing of Spektrum products.
All my FrSky Open TX gear works flawlessly at a fraction of the cost. I may get a FrSky receiver for my eflite Commander.

Connectivity
Just a little learning curve but I got it , you have to watch the right and left hand upper corner to ensure your connected and listen for the servos to wiggle after making a selection . Good for my older 636 receivers I still have x4
Unstable; lacking features
This app only exists so Spektrum can say they have an app. It constantly crashes. It has no support for helicopters or anything other than fixed wing. And it requires additional proprietary hardware to work. No updates for years. Don’t bother downloading. It’s garbage.
Graphics misalignment..
When are they going to fix the graphics issues with this app? The control surfaces don’t line up with the image of the plane and it doesn’t show the values as you type them in.

Does not support newer receiver versions
This application has not been updated in years and cannot support any of my newer spectrum receivers. E.g., AR637T is not supported. It’s like they forgot this app even existed.

This app does not work, will not connect to any of 3 different AR636 receivers, and there is ZERO support from the manufacturer. A BIG disappointment from an ordinarily very good outfit.
Hit and miss
I have never seen such an app tha is sooooo inconsistent as this thing is. One time it will hook up with the receiver the next time it acts like it has never seen the app. A real piece of crap.
This app is horrible.
Typical Spektrum. You have to be a rocket scientist to understand the poorly written instructions for this app. Programming the receiver using my iPhone is extremely frustrating. Will never buy another receiver that needs a phone app to program. Great idea, poor software.
If I could give negative stars I would
This app is USELESS. It drop connections, doesnt allow simple changes without crashing and you cannot reset to new stock. I have used this on one iPhone, and iPad and an iPad mini all with IOS versions from latest to years old and I cannot find a stable environment.
I am an IT professional who has troubleshot enterprise roll outs. This this is not worth the free price tag. The designer needs to finish reading the the teach yourself how to make apps in 24 hours book before endeavoring to do anymore code.

Bugs bugs and BUGS!
I did program my ar636a with the wizard and at the end it updated in the receiver and everything craped out now it’s in SAFE DEFAULT mode i cant do anything with it and the app works horribly images missaligned menu not working im really disapointed !

I can’t believe there is not an update yet. Last update over a year ago. Bought the AR636 AS3X technology a year ago or
more. Constantly drops connection during programming with Bluetooth IOS among many other bugs. Decided to use wired connection but also dropped. I will not carry my computer with me to the park. What’s the point?
I have two of these receivers in a box waiting for the app to improve.
In the meantime, there are more affordable gyro stabilizers with safe. For example, Hobby eagle A3. Works flawlessly and easy to program.

Heli Throttle settings not working correctly!
App needs to be updated, throttle “dots” going off screen at bottom and manual inputs do not work.

PC app works ok. Both iPhone and android apps are basically unusable.
Way too unstable. Both iPhone and android are equally bad. So, laptop with pc app (that one works ok) is the only option.
