Beautiful Sounds
The damper control is a great addition.
App is not usable on IPhone SE 2nd gen.
I don’t know how the app is supposed to look but apparently it’s not possible to use it because the all screen size of the SE was not factored in. I got the keyboard at the bottom and some midi settings at the top and the rest of the app is blank.
There is no way to navigate in any way. It looks like it’s supposed to be used with iPad.
Will refund for now and use the PC app.

Bluetooth midi barely works and crashes
I’m using a CME xkey air 37 Bluetooth midi controller. When I try using speldosa with this controller, pressing keys sometimes results in no sounds. Also if I play too many notes at once (usually 4 or 5) the app crashes. I love the sounds this app makes and I bought a new iPad to use this app for live performance. But because it keeps crashing and is sometimes non responsive to my playing I unfortunately can’t use it. I tried sending an email to support but got a “we will get back to you” response. I will amend my review if this gets solved or I get an answer!

全然鳴らなかった
ダウンロードしても全然音が鳴らず、鍵盤をタップしても鳴らず
再起動やらインストールし直しやら、色々試してみて、やっと音が鳴るように…
アプリがとても不安定で、まだまだ使い物にならないけど、オルゴールの音は良いです
ただそれだけなので、今後アプリの挙動の安定に期待します
また、何かしらの音楽が自動で鳴ってくれると嬉しいです

Simple but very useful
This is an interesting sound for improving and creating melodies or chord progressions. It has a special clear harmonic feeling while jamming around with it.
Yes but..
Sure sounds nice but I could have re-created this so simply on a myriad of other synth/sampler app I already have - and with the ability to edit the envelope. Feeling conned.

I found a bug where if you press on the keys too close to the bottom of the screen, it becomes less responsive, by that I mean if you’re playing a fast sequence of notes for example and you start pressing on the keys in the way I mentioned above, it will bug and either not press the notes, delay the notes, or press all of them at once (the ones you played in the sequence). This only occurs in a time between approximately 0.5 to 1 second and then repeats itself again if you keep playing the sequence in this way. I hope this is descriptive enough to be able to pinpoint the issue.

Bought iPad and PC version of this app. May be you can find similar sound in other libraries but this app produces a unique delicate sound.

Delicate, mesmerising, timeless… 🦋
It’s hard not to fall in love with this beautiful instrument in its immediacy and addictive gentle sonic nuances. So mysterious and soothing and essentially just a unique instrument to play and lose track of time in (like a piano in a peaceful space)! I’m also inspired with its potential use in classical scores, games and film as it’s such a characteristic and unique sound and narrative simply flows the instant you here it!
I agree it urgently needs an envelope generator (at least) to control the dynamics as I find without being able to sculpt the characteristics of the sound in the slightest the long sustains and resonances deteriorate/muddy the sound when you attempt to run it through FX chains or try to balance it gracefully within a mix amongst other instruments, (that and a parametric EQ perhaps)? Regardless it’s a truly wonderful instrument!

Simple Sweet Sound
First impressions: Good for ambient and soft music styles, but with only one sound, it’s limited. Surely some in-app purchase options would extend the use of this app. Generally, I like it and will use it in my productions (occasionally). Yet I can’t help feeling a little disappointed, this is really a toy box sound, wrapped in a neat and simple user interface.
The other reviews tempted me to make a purchase today.
I give three stars and not five, due to there only being one sound.

To me this app not bad value for money, it’s a welcome addition in my collection, but I have plenty of other apps that outshine Speldosa, such as Lo-Fi Tape. What a wonderful futuristic world we live in!
Beautiful sound an UI but very limited in scope
The title says it all: I just wished it offered more tonal variety. There’s any number of ways that could be accomplished, from effects and modulations to more wave forms / samples.
As it stands, it’s a very pretty and gorgeous sounding music box, but offers no more.
Sadly that also makes it rather expensive compared to other AU plug-ins - there are good physical modelling synths that offer way more tonal variety for a similar sound quality.
I truly hope you can enhance it.

Honest feedback
I can see where the future of this app might go but at the moment to me it wasn’t worth the $5.99 that I payed not that I want any money back because I hope that it can go toward your other projects somehow but from an outside point of view it’s nothing but 3 preset sounds that you can bang out on a virtual keyboard or hardware through midi... with built in reverb... there are a lot of free synths that are capable of recreating this ring mod easily... just saying maybe a record option would be cool at least you could pre program some songs into it to save... and as for an example of a great free full functional synth Synth One for iOS is free and fully functional... but besides that I hope you are able to start adding some cool features to the app such as some type of sequencer to at least be able to record and save projects... and besides that love your channel and your work guys. Keep up the great work.... at this point you guys may as well just write your own synthesizer... such as Alex at Sun Vox
