Since that review, I’ve continued improving the app, including speech behavior and ad handling. I appreciate you taking the time to point it out, because feedback like this helps make the app better.

Thank you for trying Spell And Say and for the honest feedback. I understand the disappointment if you were hoping for the original Speak & Spell style voice. The app uses the system voices available on Apple devices, so the sound can be different from the original toy voice. I’ve continued improving the app with clearer controls, more practice modes, and better overall layout, and I really appreciate you giving it a try.

Thank you for the feedback, and I’m sorry the app did not work properly for you. Since that older version, the app has been updated and improved quite a bit, including speech behavior, controls, and overall performance. I appreciate you trying it and taking the time to leave a review.
