My Favorite Word Game!
Spell Color remains my favorite word game! One of the best features is that it can show word-definitions after the game is completed. For example, I sometimes jam letters together, just on chance, and find I’ve actually spelled something. When the game ends, on the final tally page, I can tap an icon along the top, see every word I found, AND see that mystery-word’s definition. I can send a copy of the definition to myself and even hear it the word pronounced, so I might remember it later. •••This makes it one of the few word games I’ve discovered that has a word-LEARNING option built right in.••• Notably, it also has a far broader vocabulary than some New York Times word-games I also play. And since there’s no timer on this game, there’s no sense of pressure to rush through it. Bravo! I can relax! EXCELLENT!

MY GO-TO GAME
I am 84 years old and have been playing this game for a few years and I love it. My mind is fairly good and I play a lot during the day. I love that I can just pick up where I left off. Thanks for providing a fun game that I can use simple or harder words, depending upon my brain cooperating. Keep it going! I’m planning on playing into my 90s.

Not great
It’s easy enough to complete grids but if you want a high word score from a single grid you have to deliberately avoid completing it so that you can get more words. The problem with that is that the grid is so large that the number of possible words is enormous. In the end the game just isn’t challenging.

I’ve been playing this simple but entertaining word-finding game off & on since it’s inception. It’s a great time killer-no brain power required so it’s awesome in that respect. My only issues are 1) it cycles through the same puzzle so in order to stay interested I have to find words I haven’t found before. That requires some magination but it’s up-to-date on definitions that some other apps aren’t. I doubt it’s gonna happen but an update would be extremely appreciated & 2) being able to choose more than 7-letter words would make this an even better app because there’s a lot of them. Thank you guys. You’ve done a great job. Keep it up!

I’ve managed to complete all the puzzles available in the least amount of words I can make but I’m beginning to have them memorized. New puzzles would be amazing!

Great help for word recognition, however should have someway of showing you many words you don’t know and come up with while playing so that you might expand vocabulary,
Replaces DropWords which I surely miss
Great way to push yourself to see words. Often you will find the same word elsewhere in the grid and it won’t allow it but try for new endings or add re ahead of a word or at the end.Short words work and try lots of small words to add to the count!

More Puzzles Please!
I’ve been playing for years and have done these puzzles many times. I’m going to have to go elsewhere if you don’t send new puzzles. I agree that it is a peaceful game and a great way to kind of “unplug” from a hectic day. I wanted to suggest another way to mix things up and challenge yourself is to complete puzzle in as few words as possible. It’s fun to see “how low you can go”! It’s easy to finish in 90+ words but it is a lot harder to finish in say 68 or 70 words! It makes a great game even better!

In my top 5 favorite word games
I love this game with the exception of it rejecting any words over 6 letters. That gets VERY frustrating and I can think of no reason for it. Other than that, it’s a good challenge and a great way to pass time.
