Great app, but needs improvement
The app does what it says and provides a way to help teach you how to spell. The activities you can select from are good enough for a child to use before taking a practice quiz and then official quiz. I do wish this app could be updated to provide a user guide or some sort of video guide to help the user navigate the app. The UI could do for some visual upgrades along with newer activities.

I don’t get it
I’ve entered words but I don’t understand how to play or take a quiz. Where are the instructions?
App repeatedly crashing when recording words
I used the app previously. I have paid for it (or am not being prompted to pay). I will request a refund if the app continues crashing after the

Good but few miner issues like you can’t add a word unless you press select if you have already used that word

App keeps crashing and is not easy to use. Other resources out there that are more user friendly and quick to set up.
Doesn't open
If I could give this app zero stars I would do.
I purchased this app in good faith to assist my children. The app loaded onto my iPad however it won't open even after several attempts to reboot.

Nice but...
The app is a great app that allows you to help you learn your spelling wonderfully, although there are many adds and is too expensive for what it should be.

Very helpful for studying for a spelling test my grades in spelling have improved a lot because of spellboard. Get the app it helps

Works well but...
I have used this app for years. It works really well. I enter the word lists and it generates activities for my students. However, recently it has started to show the words that are suppose to be spelled during a quiz. This makes the quiz unusable. Please fix this! Thank you for creating a great spelling app!

Idea for added functionality
Enjoying this app!
I am hoping to model the use of this app in classrooms and encourage a few more teaching staff to utilise this kind of technology in supporting their students.
Particularly for those independent rotations which are always tricky to provide explicit targeted instruction without the instructing adult present.
However, I have a suggestion to improve this apps scaffolding to support student’s spelling. It would be incredible if this app could have an option to not only say the letter names but also say the letter SOUNDS. So that student get exposure and explicit instruction to the essential phonemic awareness skill segmentation of sounds to support their spelling development.
Would be very interested in hearing if this functionality would be possible within this app. 🙂

SpellBoard is an app that helps me to learn spelling, SpellBoard is a great app for school, learning and of course FUN! The app also helps my Vocabulary and get to learn more every day (In a FUN way). It also helps me to learn new definitions. Over all I give SpellBoard five stars out of five stars, and I thank you SpellBoard for teaching me new words, vocabulary and definitions.

What happened?
I used this app a few years ago for my twins and loved it but now that I'm trying to use it for my second grader I can't get it to work. I've entered his spelling words but the activity button is disabled and there is no way for him to take a quiz. Not user friendly at all and as is, completely useless. Such a shame because it used to be a good app.
