Have you ever wanted to control your home with your wand? Well… now you can. Spellbook turns a movement of your hand into a spell; and a spell into your lights coming on. ---- HOW DOES IT WORK? ---- Two ways to cast: - Trace a spell's shape anywhere on your iPhone screen. - Or wear an Apple Watch and cast with a flick of your arm, phone still in your pocket. Eight spell patterns are recognised. Their shapes are drawn out for you in the spellbook. The names are Latin, and every one of them can be renamed. If you'd rather say something else entirely when you summon the light, the spellbook is yours to write in. ---- WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A SPELL LANDS? ---- You decide. Bind any spell to an action, on iPhone or Watch. Cast the light-summoning spell and your bedroom lamp comes on. Cast its opposite and the room goes dark. Adjust onset sensitivity, gesture speed, confidence threshold and cooldown to match your style — precise and deliberate, or fast and snappy. Settings sync to your Watch instantly. ---- DUELLING ---- Battle a friend over a direct peer-to-peer connection — no Wi-Fi needed. Just be in range, and be quicker than they are. ---- FREE AND UNLOCKED ---- Spellbook is free to use, with seven casts a day.
