Needs major improvement
I found the app quite disappointing. The interface feels outdated and it is not user friendly, making it hard to navigate. Doesn’t help with predicting medical terms as expected. It also runs slowly and frequently freezes.
Poor interface, poor data management
This app is useless. The keyboard is barely functional as there is a significant lag when pressing keys, meaning you have to type very slowly, while pressing very hard on each key to make sure you write coherently. The keyboard is ugly and not seamless with the iphone interface, being awkwardly proportioned, keys slightly differently placed (which makes it difficult to transition from other keyboards) and bright blue.
Finally, and most importantly, iphone warns that if you give full access, this app can view anything you typed, or have EVER typed, including sensitive information such as passwords, addresses, login info and bank details. Even though spellex has declared on this app page that they do not collect any data, a good look at their website makes it clear that they offer NO legal responsibility for data handling, and that - in fact - a third party has control of their website and thus access to each and every thing you type WITHOUT any constraints to data handling, which means spellex itself can claim they don’t collect data and have nothing to declare but the third party that controls their website and also has control of all of your data doesn’t need to declare a thing.
Overall, stay AWAY! It’s not even functional!

Doesn't work
I was excited to use it and paid the 10 bucks. The keyboard doesn't work at all. When you try to select the keyboard it defaults back to the apple one every time.

I’ve used the app for a few days, and i think it should be in its beta stage. Many medical words were not in the dictionary, like pneumothorax, and tamponade (which kept switching to a Spanish word (which I expect would be a problem for anyone that is bilingual)).
I love the idea of this app and I hope it reaches its full potential, but more time is needed to make the app completely functional.
