App errors
The app worked great in the beginning but now it goes crazy and adds letters to words, makes up sentences that go on way past what they should and they don’t make any sense. Then it will also repeat letter without being asked. This app needs some maintenance.
Not what I was hoping for.
I thought this app had what I wanted to make spelling individualized and easy but it falls short. I bought the school edition so each of my students could log in and complete lists I’d assign, and then relay that information back to me. However there’s no teacher or master account- the kids have separate accounts but you have to individually assign each test, so for custom tests I’d have to input one or more a week for each of my 20 students. You have to recreate each test for each student.
I’m sure it’s fine for some but I’m super disappointed.

Not helpful
My kids and myself could not understand the computer generated spelling words. We tried multiple times and we both would understand different words. I wouldn’t recommend this app if you can’t even understand what they are saying.
Individualizing words
My students need to master a 50 word list. I would like to enter the 50 words and be able to push them out to students when the are ready. Right now I am recording spelling lists for 19 kids every week. if i could just tap on the words the student needs, it would be more user friendly.

This apps a complete spelling solution. Quality word lists, fun learning activities, practice and testing functions, progress e-mails for parents and teachers. Well done.

Used this app in my classroom...automated classes spelling workflow
I used this app in my classroom this year and it helped my students improve their spelling fluency and eliminated the need for me to correct spelling papers/tests. Love the learning activities as well as spelling word practice and testing functions.
Amazing spelling app!
Amazing spelling app. My kids can practice words from the provided word lists or enter their weekly school assigned words. Words and sentences are read to them while practicing or for extra fun, they can record their own voice saying each word and sentence. Spelling activities are really fun and helpful to the learning process.

It's good but could be better
The pre-made tests are spoken fairly well but when I typed in my 2nd graders spelling test parts were done in my voice and parts weren't. The part that wasn't mine they miss read retie as ready? It was also very difficult for her to understand with the robotic voice on the ones I put in :(. I love the set up and the whole idea behind the app just the voice is turning me away :(

Using this app in my classroom
Students love the fun spelling activities and don't even realize they are learning. Their weekly spelling test scores are showing their efforts though.

Using in my 3rd grade classroom
We bought this app for my 3rd grade classroom as we love the fun spelling activities as well as the 210 different K-6 grade word lists. I love that I can challenge my advanced students with higher level words without increasing my workload. It is great that Spelling Teacher School edition app corrects my students tests for me no matter which grade level list they are on and then provides me with the data so I can engage when needed. Thanks for a such well designed app! My students and I both love it!

Great app
This app is amazing and the new improved voice is very beneficial. Students can pretest their word list, practice with stimulating games, and do a smart practice focusing on just the words that are their weakness. Great app and wonderful way to practice words and patterns.
Great Spelling App
This is a great app for spelling. You can use the predetermined list of words or make up your own list. I really like the feature where you can hear the word in a sentence. This will be great for my classroom and the best part it saves time on checking papers. Highly recommended for teachers and parents. Updates make it easier to use.

We use this app in my classroom as with 30 word list per K-6 grade levels, I can advance my students beyond their current grade level and challenge them. No paper workbook any longer!!
