Update is horrible
Why did they ruin a good app with this horrible update? Difficult to use unintuitive can’t see bill pay recent payment amount.

Worst update ever
Not sure why you felt the need to update this app as it worked great. The look of it now is very confusing. You would be able to see all upcoming bills and she what you have already scheduled. Now it’s on a totally on an entirely different page. This app was written by a 5 year old. The pay screen is the worst of it all. With all little boxes by the payee. It looks like something a first time programmer would write. Give us the old look back. It would be less confusing and easier on the eyes.

Quick, easy, no hassle. I extremely feel safe with my personal information and I have no problems with any questions if needed.
Bad format
For a while this app is very bad on iPhone and iPad. Activity is cutoff with no way to shift and see it.
Where is my deposited check?
I deposited a check and I don’t even see it in my account and your software didn’t even allow me to choose an account.
New Version does not recognize checks for deposit
Until recently I was able to do all my deposits using the mobile deposit feature. Suddenly, after updating, I get an error every time I attempt to deposit a check, saying “check not recognized” even though a perfectly clean photo was taken and all edges are square. This is a show-stopper for me. I can no longer do mobile checks any more. This is a BUG and it needs to be fixed.

two different zelle
I just noticed there’s two different ones on the App Store. One for Spencer and one that is just Zelle. i’ve been used trying to use the one with Spencer and it’s been giving me a hard time. not wanting to accept my phone number to receive text messages.

New Check Deposit UNUSABLE
I’ve been a customer of this bank, and user of this app, for a number of years now. Most of it is standard, gets the job done, nothing fancy but it works. However, this year they updated their mobile check deposit to blur out the screen and display the message “Rotate your device to continue your deposit”. But no matter how many times you turn your phone, shake your phone, tap the screen, it never gets rid of the message and allows you to deposit the check. There are no other buttons or options on the screen, it renders this function completely useless. I have tried turning my phone every which way, turning off the ‘lock screen’ setting for iPhone, deleting the app and redownloading it, turning my phone off and on again. Nothing has worked and I cannot deposit any checks without going to the bank. It is incredibly frustrating and no one at the bank seems to aware of this issue based on my call there. This needs to be fixed immediately so I can actually deposit checks. Just get rid of the display message, people know to turn their phone. Just let them into the function!

Excellent App, easy to use, valuable tool
I do my commercial banking at Spencer and their App is excellent. Allows me to move money between accounts, or do remote deposits right from my phone. The App is generally relatable and stable and I’ve never had any issues with it. Definitely a strong point of banking with Spencer Savings Bank.

App/bank still does not allow access for customers to use Apple Pay

This app is not mainstream it’s not connected to to the other main banks it takes too long to transfer funds they need to upgrade their banking system if you need transfer funds immediately you can’t do that you have to wait too longI do not recommend this bank
Easy banking
App is easy to use and has a lot of great features, including bill pay and Apple Touch to make logging in simpler. Very happy!
