Spiel: Anti Brainrot

Stop AI maxxing, save your brain. Spiel is a one-minute speaking habit. Pick a random topic. Prep within a fixed time. Speak for one minute using your own words. That is the whole loop, and it is harder than it sounds. WHY IT WORKS AI makes you feel like you have learned something without actually learning. When slop feels productive, you stop thinking. Spiel puts the thinking back where it belongs: in your head, out loud, with a clock running. No prompts, no drafts, no autocomplete. Just you and a topic you met three minutes ago. WHAT HAPPENS IN A SPIEL • Spin the wheel for a topic you did not choose. • Read about it for a few minutes. The clock keeps you honest. • Record a one-minute take, audio or video. • See where the fillers landed, how long you spoke cleanly, and your pace. • Share the card, or go again. WHAT YOU BUILD • Healthier learning habits • Better focus • Your own thinking, back • Clearer articulation Meet Bean. He is your companion through it, and he is doing ok. Keep your streak and he stays that way. BUILT FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU Students who relied on AI in practice scored 17% worse the moment it was taken away. Spiel is designed for sustainable learning, on behavioural psychology, with no shame and no punishment. One reminder a day to spin, prep and speak, and one nudge before midnight if you have not. PRIVACY No account, no sign-in. Your recordings stay on your phone and are deleted after 30 days. Your voice leaves the device only to be transcribed, and the transcript comes straight back to you. We never use it to train anything. DELETING YOUR DATA Settings > Delete your account wipes every recording, transcript and preference on the phone and the anonymous id the app runs under. Uninstalling the app does the same. Nothing is kept on a server to delete. SUBSCRIPTION Spiel needs a subscription to use. Choose Weekly or Yearly on the first screen after onboarding; both unlock unlimited spiels. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings.
