This Game WAS Fun…
The most recent update changed everything I loved about this game. The patch notes suggest quality of life improvements and balancing, yet the game got exponentially more difficult, not to mention added constant ads to buy cards and power up’s and such. Please bring back the game we loved.
Designed to chase away long-time fans
I hadn’t played in a while, but I’d never deleted the game. I decided to pull it up after the most recent update to see what might be new. What was new was that my profile was now worthless. Sure, my pirate main was still level 22, and sure the map still had me at level 93, but it is categorically impossible for me to ever advance further. Leveling up a hero now takes almost a million coins of a new currency that I can earn at the rate of a few dozen at a time. (Let’s not even talk about what the pain is for my lv 24 witch or lv 27 scientist. Plus my lv 29 knight is apparently maxed out, now.) I can’t pass any more levels because the mobs are MUCH stronger even at low waves than ever before. There’s a new hard currency that I have none of (of course), and the previous hard-ish currency that I have 81k of is now essentially worthless. If I don’t delete the profile data and start over I’ll never pass another level or hero upgrade again. The new economy is designed to soak newbies mercilessly until they see what the scam is. The last update that introduced gear was interesting, but I wasn’t given scaled gear at any time to make sure my strength was appropriate. I’m just hosed and functionally locked out of progress from now on.

Simple, but fun
The game mechanics are simple enough to understand and is a good time kill. However, the volume of forced ads just to play a single match makes the game unplayable without dumping money into it to remove ads which the simplicity of the game and lack of any real added game play is not worth any monetary value. Uninstalled and steering clear.

One round one ad, the ad is longer than the round. Don’t recommend.

The game is fun. You have to use a little strategy to be able to complete rounds. Learning the strengths of each tile helps a lot, so early on is mainly testing what works and doesn’t work.
I am deleting this due to the number of ads. I don’t mind watching ads to not have to pay for a game, but this is too much. It started slow with almost no ads unless I chose to get an upgrade of some sort. Then the after game ads came. Now it is after each wave! So I play for about 30 seconds and then get 15 seconds of ads that require multiple “Skip Ad” prompts I have to press or the ad keeps going. I would have kept this game and continued to watch plenty of ads if they were just a little less frequent.

Ads this today are invasive
The first few days I felt the ads were okay. But today I’m getting ads after every round within a game. So I’m playing for a minute, getting a forced ad, playing for a minute, another forced ad…
enjoyable but ads ):
optional ads are one thing, but this game bait and switches you. the first 10 or so chapters, theres no forced ads, and then once you’re invested they throw up a “hey, pay for no ads (:<“ and then now ive got 2-3 forced ads per run. its annoying. im teetering on uninstalling because half the time i play is spent on ads now

Not fake
Exactly what the add said. I’m 3 games in and I still haven’t gotten a single add. Pretty good game if your busy doing something because it doesn’t force you to go to the next round within a certain time

Not to many ads unless you really want the perks of them so at least they’re beneficial to watch. Overall cute game so far….

2 times speed twice now and you’re not giving it to me I wish we could sue games for making you purchase it twice and then not giving it to you
Got unplayable
Game became unplayable after the last update. Loosing after two seconds and game wants that you spend a lot of money to win.
Fun game destroyed
I’ve had this game for a while and originally I enjoyed it. That’s until I logged in this week to play and see they pushed a massive update. My characters are now impossible to level due to the new progression system. I’ve beat a few levels and gotten 1,200 upgrade points, to level up I need 20,000,000. Can’t really beat new levels because even though I wasn’t struggling before the update, it’s nearly impossible to progress now. Dying on wave 1 because I didn’t get the right choices. Not to mention there’s a million ads now. They tried to monetize the game and instead destroyed it.
Also who’s brilliant idea was “watch an ad for a 10 minute boost” then the add is 3+ minutes long and by the time you can start using your boost 40% of it is already gone. Also every time a level ends it’s obnoxious to flash a “do you want to buy a $50 pack?”
A month ago I would have suggested this game, now I say save your time and skip.

Pay to play
Recent update offers nothing of any gameplay significance, only monetized the game. Everything is pay or watch an ad. The already slow progress is at a crawl. Everything got nerfed again I was clearing 221 easily now I can barely clear 180 with luck and watching ads. My level 55 mage is useless and will cost 2.1 billion gems to upgrade. Uninstalling.

Was Great
I really enjoyed this game, sadly the most recent update made the game pretty much unplayable with the # of advertisements that are popping up now even in between waves of the levels. Sadly I can’t even play the game anymore due to advertisement rage quitting after getting my 5th one in one level.
Previous balance was fine, advertisements were longer but you could at least get a level in per advertisement.
I do enjoy the game and consider a solid 4 star game, but the advertisements have forced me to take it down to a 2 star rating.

Cool game! (Pt1, 4 star) New bugs (pt 2, dropped to 2 star)
(Pt 1) I’ve enjoyed this game to kill time. I decided to get card builder power during a round twice, with a double trigger power-up able to boost both of them. Well, got all the card powers I can, and there is no skip card feature for this scenario. I have to restart the round because of it at 9/10 waves completed. Could you add that feature so that people can continue on in the future?

(Pt 2) New bug found. After recent update, all stats were reset, gems previously spent on the upgrade chain have been voided, with no return of the gems.
Sure, hero levels stayed, but I had to unlock them again. The upgrade chain was great as progress happened throughout the levels. Now it feels like I’m stuck much longer on a level before passing because of the rebuilding necessary of stats.

Lost progress
Really enjoyed the game until I opened it recently. Somehow ended up with lesser stats and locked features even after being on like chapter 44. What’s going on?
Buggy Release 05/6
Edit: Game is still fun, I’ve been farming lower levels. Apparently you can’t earn blue diamonds that way. So that’s kinda on me. Anyways my complaint about the rebalance still stands.

Game is so fun but this last release is really buggy. Can’t access the heroes menu even though I already had access. Also the rebalance means I can’t even get close to floors I was easily completing prior to it. Can’t figure out how to get this new meta xp so I can unlock stuff.

Game Was Great Until Update!!!
I spent a lot of time playing this game. I am currently on level 51. Once the big update hit. My XP reset to zero and I have no access to any menu anymore except the play button. Please help.
