I’m glad to find Spiracle and this simple player is perfect for me - it means I can listen to audiobooks offline and I don’t get bombarded with ads. Keep going Spiracle it’s better and better.

A pleasure to discover Spiracle. Clear and beautifully branded. These guys are developing a great offering and the player is a simple adjunct to my Library and the wider curated collection held online. I look forward to seeing new recommendations and feeling part of the community.
Easy to use, effortless listening
I love this company. The app is simple and easy to use. Quick to set up and the sound quality is excellent
Player forgets where it stopped, doesn’t want to play
I’m all for supporting indie audiobooks however this platform is simply non functional, and what a shame. Started listening to the book in my library, paused it after some hours, came back to it later and it started playing from a random point that I’d already listened to! Not even from the beginning, just a random 15-20min before where I left off. Nevermind, I somehow found my place. Now I’ve come back to the book again, and while it has remembered the place the stopped, the play button is unresponsive. Or rather, I can push play to pause, skip around 15sec ahead or back, slide the chapter minute bar but… nothing happens. I can’t play the book. Tried using the web player and it’s the same. Hugely disappointed.
