This is an amazing app, even at its most basic, free download, no upgrades level. Offering any musician, at any level of expertise, the simple ability to record themselves at the highest quality available, using just their phone’s mic. Whether you’re uploading it or just listening back to yourself to boost your personal growth. However, should you decide to unlock pro (and you should!), and double especially if you find yourself a spire studio interface/mic, that setup is hands-down THE best demo recording setup you can get without spending somewhere close to 3-4 times the money. I literally use this thing almost every day because it’s so versatile and it puts out such amazing .wav’s without ever firing up a computer or setting up a button load of recording gear. Like the title says, the sum is truly greater than its parts on this one.

Very helpful with multitracks
I like this app, it’s been very helpful with projects especially with the multi track feature, I do wish I could move the audio to certain spots/clip off unwanted space, but I’m happy with this, especially the mixing feature I wasn’t expecting, it’s very easy to learn too, this is better for me than GarageBand 🤣

Perfect for what I need
I need to record some conversation and save them in WAV format but my pc mic is low quality, using this with an iPhone has made my life much easier

I love Spire. Great for on the fly recording and basic mixing. My only complaint is the recording button. i never know when im recording or not because they look practically the same when its activated or not. many times now i have thought i was recording but turned out i lost my performance because it wasn’t. can you add some text or change the color or something when u make your next update? otherwise - fantastic!

About the app
Its so good no adds yet and I am enjoying the harmonies and you can do mini harmonies on top of each other. The only problem I have is when you add them they kinda get like a scratchy tone when you add more
