What's New in Spire

2.1.0

February 28, 2024

Thank you for using Spire. This time, we have mainly performed maintenance on systems related to internal processes. We apologize for the long time that has passed since our last update. We are very grateful that some of our users are still using Spire regularly, even though there has been no update. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you. Thank you also to those who have requested additional features. I think I finally have some time to spare, I'm going to try to make some of the improvements that I have accumulated so far. First, I plan to clean up the source code that has not been maintained for a while. After that, we will gradually improve usability, design, and new features. It will take some time, but we will make every effort to make the application easier to use, Thank you for your continued support of Spire.

Very complicated

This app is very complicated. Hard to understand just put on the app. What people oh not all the other stuff you have on it

Response from developer

Thank you for your valuable input. I think you are right. We have not included a tutorial or explanation of how to use the application because intuitive operation was important to us. We will consider improving the functionality to make it easier to use in the future. Thank you for your continued support.

A great start. Quick and simple habit/condition tracker

Similar to other habit trackers, but with numbers. It’s been a year since the last update as I write this, but if it’s still in development I will suggest two changes. First, automatically saving would be better so entries aren’t lost upon exit if the save button isn’t pressed. Then you would only see prompts when existing data might be overwritten. Second, add an export feature with a few formatting options, but at least csv format. Numerical tracking implies there will be some analysis. It’s fine not have tools for analysis built-in, and I think the simplicity is more widely adaptive. I think most users would want to work with the data somehow and exporting gives them many choices.
