Honest SLP review
I’ve been using this application since April. I’ve trialed it with students and clients in both the school setting and clinic setting. I like how it incorporates games in addition to the communication system. Not only are the games and activities interactive, but they have core words and vocabulary embedded which is GREAT for generalization. The one and only issue that I had in the beginning was the application crashing when loading certain activities, but that seems to have been resolved during my recent use of the application. Overall, I would recommend this application as it’s one of a kind and super engaging. I always say more AAC resources is better than less!

Very Customizable!
I’ve used a variety of AAC apps with my clients and Spkeasy has been on of my favorites so far because it’s easy to customize, individualized for the speaker, and I love how you can create sentence phrases to have a back and forth conversation with another person without having to press multiple buttons! Would definitely recommend this AAC app for early learners!

Glitchy
I was really excited to explore this app for clients who need a more visual AAC option but the features I was excited for (primarily my house) would never load it would just kick me out of the app any time I tried
A Good Teaching Tool
As an SLP, I appreciate that there are integrated scene features and games to encourage engagement. The communication tool component is approaching robust. I imagine the vocabulary available will grow in time. I’m hoping for more editing features regarding appearance will be added in the future
