An Honest App, Sharesheet support, Save to Photos or Files

A merge/crop tool with pixel precise control, seamless merging, save options, and Sharesheet support that can be used as a go-between for apps that don’t appear in SS for images in some circumstances. Must-have app for any image editors and social media contributors. A hidden gem.

» Its claim as a free app hold true

»» You can volunteer to send a small remuneration

»» This optional gift notice is tucked away in the settings and not somewhere intrusive or regularly reminded about

»» genuinely free as in not holding customers to watch any adverts

» It complements the native IOS crop feature

»» enabling precise cropping with dims for selected area, other area, and new area if cropped, available in real time

»» crop from all sides (crop), horizontal and vertical at any point including inside (crop & ‘split’)

»» crop to a high degree of accuracy, by 1 pixel, zoom to get greater flexibility in the minutiae. Min crop length is ≈ 4px

» Open images from Photos or from Files, which are also options for saving

» Merging is perhaps its best feature which isn’t natively available as an official tool without using Shortcuts with its clunky non-visual merge images action that’s not dynamic

»» allowing seemingly unlimited merging vertically

»» techniques to merge without a seam

»» append to below or above

»» fade images at the merge edge option

» Full Sharesheet support with a bonus I use all the time, some apps do not appear in the Sharesheet eg. images via a browser or after markup, SplitCrop does, and without editing you can share to those apps because it shares the widely compatible PNG/JPEG extensions, Apple hasn’t provided a means to manage Sharesheet apps when you share.

Two improvement notes

Give the option to always show the info window which can disappear while using the crop handles
Support for horizontal cropping enabling merge as a grid (I need to use Shortcuts for this), without resorting to rotating images to 90deg before you add them

More than a niche image editor

It’s an image tightener! It removes the fluff in the middle and does it fast!!! Plus easy settings for customizing the interface. Plus flipping, rotating, and narrowing. So handy!!

THIS app fulfills a key image-editing need in the world of using screenshots. I use screenshots as key communication tools, as illustrations for tutorials, as quick job aids, as educational examples and more. And OFTEN I don’t want the clutter of ads or I don’t need 50% of the flashy sales imagery in the middle of the image.

I never looked for this app. I found it by accident! I had thought about asking a developer friend to make it for me by saying “I need the opposite of “Stitch It!” (quick vertical joins); I need to “Gut It!” in the middle of the image after I’ve stitched it.

RANT: But I never expected to find something so useful by searching. The AppStore is almost impossible now that there are so many competing apps flooding the market. Worse yet, once I weed out the wannabes to find the specific functionality I need, there are greedy problems with how it is offered. Like a ridiculous list of in-app purchases at different prices with the same “ 1 year” label, plus a overreaching use of my data. Here have all my data and don’t tell me what I’m actually going to pay before I download the thing that might not even fit my needs.

Who is this iconoclastic developer Michael Klug?? I respect the fact that he isn’t greedy!!

I feel lucky, like I re-entered the AppStore yore! Remember when you could get features without giving away your privacy? Remember when you could just own instead of renting?
There’s no subscription price! Just three sweet ways to tip the developer after using the FULL SET OF FEATURES!

Pinching myself, thank you Michael Klug, whoever you are for being decent, offering value, asking to be paid on contingency. This is my favorite new app experience in a decade.

100% PERFECT

The intent was an APP to stitch together screenshots and it outperforms with amazing execution! Easy to understand a 5 year old could grasp it. Solid customization but not too much as to where its overwhelming. With easy adding/importing, and of course seamless sharing/exporting. You get all that « {+} a privacy policy promise of zero data collection/sharing/retention! This APP however is a basic tool everyone should have in their app library.

˙*In comparison to most APPS on the APP Store, after reading no data collected when viewing it, clicking on their respective developers privacy policies you'll come to find a completely different ulterior motive.

Simple to use and very useful

You would think something like this would already be native on IOS device. Thank You for creating this useful tool.
