good alternative to splitwise but with some ux issues

Pls cleanup the overall design of the group and add expense screen. I got so confused on add expense screen. Took me 5-10 mins to understand what’s going on there. It should be super simple

Top emphasis should be on enter amount then what is it for. Then split equally or unequally, All the other things are optional and should not be in focus.

Best alternative to Splitvise

UI is a little laggy and when u are adding item wise bill quantity field is little mislead but otherwise a perfect app. Highly recommend

Integration not working

Its a great app
The selling point was importing stuff from other places
Took a lot of convincing to make friends move to this app
And now since few days not able to import bills from zepto etc

Slowly Everything is going behind a paywall

This app used to be my one of the go to app when it came to splitting costs among friends. But slowly the basic features like looking at my total share is a premium feature.

I get that you need money to run the app, but at least keep the basic features available or give access to lifetime membership. That would also be much more helpful than a recurring subscription plan.

Became greedy just like Splitwise

This app started as a good alternative to split-wise who became greedy and starting charging insane amount for subscription to update any data. Splitkaro came as a saviour but after initial one month of use they are locking everything all things start getting restricted and i believe soon it would go down the split-wise way and will restrict everything and loose all its customer base who will just find an alternative similar to how people switched to them from splitwise. All the best !

Multiple Bill Bug

Whenever I'm trying to add multiple bills in one expense, and I'm trying to submit expense where it asks for naming it but naming screen is abruptly closing, so I'm not able to name the expense.

One of the most useful app

Splitkaro has been my go-to app for handling personal finance. Be it expenses made individually or with friends everything is covered. It can also help us fetch expenses from other apps easily making it most convenient.

Not recommended

Confusing app. You cant delete or settle the amount. Everyone has to download the app 1st than one should add the money. Also deleting someone expense from group is not easy. Need improvement. After adding all expense you will still not be able to find how much money they will pay to you if multiple pepople have paid for the same trip.

Prompt customer support response

In a time of ai chatbots taking over and ruining most customer support experiences, these guys still keep a good human touch. They’re prompt, responsive, and understanding. This is why I prefer smaller companies. Their UI may not be the best out there, but it’s good, they’ve their ear to the ground and roll out useful features and are affordable too. Thanks guys. Great service application
