About
Stemline pulls a song apart into four separate tracks and gives you a volume fader for each one.
Import an audio file you already have on your phone. Stemline separates it into drums, bass, vocals, and guitar or everything else, then hands you a four-channel mixer. Pull the vocals down and you have a track to sing over. Pull the guitar down and there is a hole in the song exactly where your part goes. Nothing is muted for you and nothing is fixed: every fader moves independently, so you can practice against whatever mix you need.
EVERYTHING HAPPENS ON YOUR PHONE
The separation runs on the device using a machine learning model built into the app. Your audio is never uploaded, no account is required, and Stemline works with no connection at all. What you make stays with you.
YOU BRING THE MUSIC
Stemline has no music catalogue and no store. It does not search, stream, or download anything. You import files you already have.
BUILT FOR PRACTICING
• Four independent faders, one per part, with a proper decibel scale
• One-tap mixes: full band, minus the vocal, minus an instrument
• Entry cues that mark where a chosen part first comes in, so you can skip straight to it
• A count-in of three or five beats, so your hands are ready before the track moves
• Scrub the waveform, or jump ten seconds either way
• Songs that genuinely have no bass, or no vocal, are shown as such rather than pretending
