Waste of money

Downloaded and paid for the “premium” upgrade. A grand total of 38 songs from my library were supposedly available - and not a single one actually played.

Does not connect to Hue bridge!

I bought this app specifically to work with my Phillips Hughes system and I have not been able to get it to connect with my Hue bridge and tech-support seems to be nonexistent. Save your money and try a different app to work with Phillips you.

Not working with Apple Music

Error every time an Apple Music track is selected to play

Do Not Buy for Hue Integration!

Bought this app in 2024 for the Philips Hue Light integration and it no longer connects to Hue Bridges/Bulbs. Unfortunately it hasn’t been updated in years, and the app is outdated - buyer be warned.

App not working

This app won’t play a single song, and I don’t know why. It says “error while playing” on every single song. I bought the expansions for this app that refuses to work, and I don’t know how to get help

Still needs work

This app has the potential to be great. It's similar to the Serato Pyro app, but lacks the algorithm to match some music and fails at blending/ beat matching the songs. I paid for the app and unfortunately, it forces me to go back to an outdated Pyro app that mixes and matches the songs better. Hopefully it will catch up to Pyro!

Great but need improvements

It freezes sometimes and I can’t choose a song. And it also sometimes don’t let you choose the transitions while you’re playing music. Now I just noticed if you chose a later song down the list it deletes all the songs above the song! Wow. And it still crashes way to much. This is a unreliable app. It’s good when it works! It deletes all your playlists when it feels like it!

Great app but buggy

This is a fantastic app for mixing your set list but unfortunately, it hasn’t been updated for a while and is a bit buggy. Sometimes it just locks-up so whilst it will still play the pre-determined set list, it won’t allow manual selection. The only way is to quit the app and restart, which is a shame.

Compatible With Spotify

This app is perfect but all I want is to be able to sync my Spotify playlists :(

I wish you could use Spotify

Can’t use Spotify at least I can’t figure it out

Great

Very good app. It just needs to get updated for the newer phones.

Could be good I guess?

These days who buys actual music? All the playlists I have, I choose one and none are available as it’s an Apple Music track and not bought on iTunes so I don’t own the DRM or whatever is. So I can’t use it at all. But I guess it would be good if I physically owned all the music on my phone

Not recognizing my music

I just downloaded the app and opened it to the playlist I wanted to mix - there are 38 songs on the list and yet it says “no songs”. All songs are songs I own on Apple Music.

Splyce up your strife

Brilliant little DJ mix app, sequence a playlist on Apple Music and open it, the app will sort it into bpm order (or not) as you prefer, set the mix time between 5 and 60 seconds and play. Rearrange the tracks as they are cued if you decide to change the mood.

The app will beat match perfectly (as only a computer can) and cross fade gently while balancing the track volumes. For a couple of quid it’s perfect to make those cold edits warm again.,

There are criticisms: it hasn’t got a clue about breakbeats or drum and bass. Probably the software that reads the waveform can’t figure out where the kick is. Sometimes it can’t figure out where to mix so just quickly transitions from one to the other in a fairly random place, usually if a track has an extended intro. Cold edits are necessary as it has the same trouble with tracks from a mixed compilation.

Stick to 4/4s and tracks that start with the beat and it’s perfect.

It’s a bit buggy as well meaning it might stop if you access another app while it’s playing, whether or not you start using the different app.

It has pointless features like flashing and changing colour. Less pointless features are an EQ touchscreen so you can flange and filter for fun.

So, while not as intelligent, intuitive or empathetic as a real person, nor as artistic, but if you want to play a number of techno tunes without hearing the joins and without being too concerned about “The Journey” it’s awesome.

Don’t bother.

This app is rubbish. I can mix far far better manually on other apps. I paid to upgrade too, complete waste.

Can’t use for Apple Music

It can only see songs that you’ve either bought or downloaded via iTunes on a laptop. Entirely useless if you have an Apple Music subscription.

Doesn't update play counts for tracks

I'd use it all the time but I'd like my play counts to update 😕

Phillips hue integration not working.. beat matching needs improving

Hi,

Would be a 5 star is bridge compatibility was updated and beat matching algorithm fine tuned... lose a star for each

We need bridge 2.0 support please...Phillips Hue light integration is a big use case for this app, it needs updating to integrate with latest Phillips bridge version.

I love all the non beat match transitions these are great, however the beat match transitions are not that great and are very hit and miss.

Would be great if user could select transition type manually between each song.

Beat match quite often beat counts double speed, user should be able to half this when this happens... ie 180 bpm is actually 90bpm. Happens a lot on slow soul music.
