Good app, more features would improve
Good app, but would be much better if commenting was allowed on posts. Would make much more information available and turn the app more into a forum.

Map is a mess and inaccurate
It’s a mess now, hard to find the mushroom you actually want.
It’s not accurate at all - you’ll find ones where it says there are none, you won’t find any where there’s supposedly loads.
It charges you a subscription - no way to actually buy the map. I hate subscriptions, have uninstalled.

Good idea, difficult to use
Very good foraging tool
I’ve been using this and the precursor for a few years. It’s head and shoulders above the other shroom maps on the App Store.
Developer is helpful and helped me with issues when raised. Identifying mushrooms just works. It’s really helpful to understand the fundamentals of the mushrooms you’re identifying and helps keep you safe from toxic ones.
Forecast map really helpful for visualising your local areas and giving you a rough idea of where has had the good weather.
If you’ve just started foraging or you just want to know when and where to walk the dog, it’s worth every penny of premium easily.

Tip
I recommend this app to everyone you should change the colour of the letter on the map is not very clearly I recommend black frame
Causing me headaches
The map has put my garden on here as a likely spot for magic mushrooms. Now I have been inundated with people climbing into my garden field which is a wildlife rewilding area. It’s absolutely shocking rare orchid habitat is being trampled down daily by uneducated foragers. Poor show!

The implementation of numerous mushroom species is impressive, it makes my life a bit easier and I’m mad this app didn’t exist sooner.
One problem:
The forecast on the app (in my opinion) could be improved by mimicking the MagicMushroomMap forecast, showing suitable weather across the map, ASWELL as telling you the chance of a species growing based on weather conditions. I think this would help because it would let you see where you’re more likely to find mushrooms cropping up at certain times, and would allow you to see weather pattern (like you can on MMM)
