Not a fan of the change, sorry
I still love this app. I think I’ve even given it a five star review before I’m pretty sure I have, if I hadn’t before it definitely would’ve been a five star for sure it’s the map part of the app find not as good I’m sure you used to be able to have a wide range of Mushrooms to follow on the map where you just drive down and see areas on the map the darker green spots you didn’t have to select specific Mushrooms for what I remember if I’m wrong, I would apologise but I definitely do seem to struggle with this newer version of the app and again if I’m wrong about the previous all I can say is I used to always love using it whilst I’m walking around in the car not driving being driven by the way I’m just seeing the spots and heading to them 100% used to use it more than more do now and it’s not because I’m less in love with Mushrooms foraging because I’ll definitely not if anything also I just find it harder personally I still like it. Don’t get me wrong. But not half as much as before. Hopefully this has has helped as criticism should hopefully only make it better at least make designers think about how to improve it thanks I’m sorry for the rating but I’m sure the next one will be a five star with any luck, PS I don’t generally give ratings of this. It’s a five star but I want app to get better and better 🍄🍄🟫💪

Cool
Good app, more features would improve
Good app, but would be much better if commenting was allowed on posts. Would make much more information available and turn the app more into a forum.
Map is a mess and inaccurate
It’s a mess now, hard to find the mushroom you actually want.
It’s not accurate at all - you’ll find ones where it says there are none, you won’t find any where there’s supposedly loads.
It charges you a subscription - no way to actually buy the map. I hate subscriptions, have uninstalled.

Could be good
Good idea, difficult to use
Very good foraging tool
I’ve been using this and the precursor for a few years. It’s head and shoulders above the other shroom maps on the App Store.
Developer is helpful and helped me with issues when raised. Identifying mushrooms just works. It’s really helpful to understand the fundamentals of the mushrooms you’re identifying and helps keep you safe from toxic ones.
Forecast map really helpful for visualising your local areas and giving you a rough idea of where has had the good weather.
If you’ve just started foraging or you just want to know when and where to walk the dog, it’s worth every penny of premium easily.

Great App
Really good interface with authentic live photographs and detailed descriptions
Really helpful
Great app that provides a wide range of info and supports the enhancement of personal knowledge. Highly recommend.
Tip
I recommend this app to everyone you should change the colour of the letter on the map is not very clearly I recommend black frame
Causing me headaches
The map has put my garden on here as a likely spot for magic mushrooms. Now I have been inundated with people climbing into my garden field which is a wildlife rewilding area. It’s absolutely shocking rare orchid habitat is being trampled down daily by uneducated foragers. Poor show!
Scam
Not accurate what so ever.
amazing app

10/10
Amazing app helped me a lot 👍
Great App
It’s brilliant the web page has grown into this app! Easy to use, where and when heat maps, location privacy etc.
Please add more fungi soon!
Please add more fungi soon!
App is a bit glitchy
Keeps crashing if I try to change locations
Great app
The implementation of numerous mushroom species is impressive, it makes my life a bit easier and I’m mad this app didn’t exist sooner.
One problem:
The forecast on the app (in my opinion) could be improved by mimicking the MagicMushroomMap forecast, showing suitable weather across the map, ASWELL as telling you the chance of a species growing based on weather conditions. I think this would help because it would let you see where you’re more likely to find mushrooms cropping up at certain times, and would allow you to see weather pattern (like you can on MMM)
just a thought though, still a very useful app
