What's New in SportMetrix
2.1.1
August 30, 2026
What's new in 2.1: • The expanded route map and the chart comparison screen are now a single screen with two modes. The map gives the chart much more room, and that chart is the full comparison one: add heart rate, cadence, speed or temperature, pinch to zoom and mark a range to see its stats. One button hides the map and leaves the chart full screen in landscape; another brings it back, keeping everything you were looking at. • When you mark a range on the chart, it gets highlighted over the route on the map and a box shows its stats: distance, time, minimum, average and maximum of every active metric, plus ascent and descent. The box can be dragged around or folded into a button. • The chart axis switches between distance and time from the chart itself, and the choice is remembered. The time axis measures moving time, the same one shown in the workout header. • Before recording, the sport and the start button sit under a block showing your sensors live: whether they are searching or connected and the value they are reading right now. If the sport supports sensors you are not using, a line reminds you. Tapping a line connects the sensor right there. • Getting-started guide: if permissions or your details (age, weight, height) are missing, the app tells you at startup and takes you to the right screen with one tap. Your details are used for calories and zones, and they never leave your device. • When location is missing, a clear message over the map tells you what to do, with a direct button to the system settings. • The sports list in your Profile is now organised in groups (On foot, Cycling, Water sports, Gym, Others). • Route search suggests your previous searches and finds routes containing all the typed words, in any order and ignoring accents. • More realistic maximum speed: it is now measured as the speed sustained for ten seconds, in your recordings and in imported routes too. • History: routes with elevation gain show it in the list, long names take two lines, and age is shown in the readable unit (years, months, days or hours). Thanks for training with us!
