What's New in SportMetrix

1.93.0

August 14, 2026

SportMetrix keeps evolving! What's new in 1.93: • New language: Portuguese (Brazilian variant). The whole interface, voice announcements and number formats, selectable from Profile → Language. • Share with ID: publish an outdoor route with a 6-digit ID valid for 1 to 30 days, so whoever receives it can import it into SportMetrix (History → Import → With shared ID) or RouteDesigner. You can copy the ID, regenerate it or stop sharing at any time. The route is only visible during that time and only to whoever has the ID. • Photos on your route: new camera button while recording outdoors. The photo creates a waypoint right where you are, with a full-screen viewer (zoom), cropping and copy to the phone gallery. You can also assign a gallery photo to a waypoint without one from the route detail. • Data screen, "Move cards": press and hold a card and drag it to rearrange it, or tap it to hide or show it. The order and hidden cards are remembered per sport and included in the backup. • Data screen, colors: each value card can have its own color, with a 12-color palette. The chosen color is also applied to the map's data area. • Sport switching: the sport icon next to the stopwatch is now a selector; while recording, a long press switches the whole ongoing activity to another sport of the same category. • Bluetooth sensors: if a card depends on an enabled sensor with no data, it shows a pulsing orange button that opens the sensor setup without leaving the screen. Each sport remembers its last sensor configuration. • Map: tapping a waypoint opens its sheet to rename it, delete it or share its exact location (Google Maps, Apple Maps and Waze links). • Map: the data area (speed, distance, time, elevation) can be moved to the very top of the screen and back down; the position is remembered. • Waypoints: the name starts with a capital letter automatically and the dialog suggests your most recent and most used names. • Route detail: all actions are grouped in a "..." menu at the top right, and the footer shows "Available on:" with the synced portals. • MisRutas: waypoint photo sync with the portal (upload, update or delete, up to 3 per route). Bug fixes: • Auto-pause: after resuming an interrupted recording it stayed disabled for the rest of the route; also, a GPS fluctuation could leave the recording in manual pause without touching it, losing kilometres. Both fixed. • Map: if an invalid value corrupted the camera, the map froze to black until the app was killed; the last valid view is now restored automatically. • Waypoints: the add waypoint button disappeared during pause and auto-pause; it now shows whenever a route is being recorded. • Heatmap: downloaded content is validated (a server failure could leave the heatmap empty forever) and worldwide heatmaps are visible from further away. • Battery: animations of hidden tabs are paused and the battery usage indicator works even if you start the route with the phone charging. Thanks for training with us!
