When I am signed in with my tv provider I can’t add favourite teams which is very annoying because it makes it harder to be able to check scores. Please fix this.

Garbage but no other choice

Live streaming to Apple TV crashes repeatedly; game restarts while streaming; intermittent audio or clicking sounds are common. Unfortunately there is no other option for regularly streaming Blue Jays games in Canada so we’re stuck with this mess.

Always Flaky

Even with exquisite internet the app will freeze and require multiple restarts to finish a game. I've never seen a whole ball game without restarting the app at least once. It's embarrassing that the richest media company in the country can't handle a stable app.

New update broke app

Recent update prevents favourites from being added. Can’t get any updates 🤨

No favourites anymore?

For weeks I have tried to re-add my favourite teams. I keep getting “something went wrong” error and can’t do it. Previous versions had this functionality for years. What is going on now?

Terrible

For the price they ask this app is terrible. Always glitching and freezing. Needs constant restarting and always crashes during commercials.

Stopped watching when you hired Kevin Pillar

Rogers, shame on you for hiring this homophobe back.

Freezes and glitchy

Constant freezing and glitching. On all devices. Not worth the money

Glitchy, terrible service, bad streaming

This app is horrifically bad. It crashes consistently. You can't google cast it to many TVs and the login loop is idiotic. It is so sad to be held hostage by this Roger's nonsense to watch sports in Ontario. May freedom one day arrive.

The App Crashes while casting

I don’t know why this app is still so shaky. A lot of issues with casting but it happens constantly and with many TV’s. Mine are all Samsungs so don’t know if there is an issue there. But seriously annoyed I pay for this app and miss half of any game I want to watch.

Awful

Constantly crashes. Signing in causes the app to crash. I have to delete and reinstall if I want to try and do anything. Costs enough money to be the worst app

Price keeps going up but bugs remain

Streaming the Blue Jays games peaked in the 2010s when we could watch on the excellent MLB.tv service. Now we all have to use this terrible, buggy app that keeps getting more expensive but they can’t be bothered to fix its many issues. It’s just not acceptable. But of course they don’t care; they have a monopoly on sports streaming in this country. Pathetic.

App Bugs

I am unable to set up my favorite teams on my iPhone and iPad. When I choose a team, the app gives me an error saying it’s unavailable and then crashes.

I am also unable to log into my account on AppleTV so I can watching the streaming services. It goes through the process of connecting using my tv provider but then crashes out and then the app won’t even open again in AppleTV.

I even tried streaming from my iPad to my AppleTV, but again, it crashes.

Terrible app from a terrible company

Destroying hockey viewing in Canada. Complete garbage company. Rogers is trash

Get Cable. Don’t Waste Your Money.

I’ve been a long time subscriber and the price keeps going up without any value being added. I just want to watch the Oilers and the Blue Jays without blackout restrictions. I don’t care about interviews, or analyses, or any extra stuff. There needs to be better price points with options to select only what you will actually watch, so you aren’t wasting money. At almost $400 for a yearly subscription now, I’ve cancelled mine. Probably just look at getting cable or something, but I definitely will not be subscribing again. The price hikes irritated me so much I even switched my cell phone to Telus after being a Rogers customer for over 20 years.

The Sportsnet app also has a lot of bugs and often whatever I’m watching produces an error after a few minutes of play. The service went down too during the most intense inning of one of the Blue Jays World Series games in 2025 and remained down for at least a half hour. Stop increasing your price for something that keeps getting worse.

oh rogers

app crashes, no audio, close and reopen every game you want to watch. awful how expensive their subscription is for an app that’s unusable for half the time. do better guys!

No point getting this

This app likes starting the game over randomly, then you miss a lot of the actual game, trying to reboot the app. Which isn’t always successful.

Crashes, no costumer support at all

Update: I have cancelled my subscription. THIS APP IS A JOKE! This subscription app is ridiculously overpriced. Their streams constantly fail, specially during big games. Recently, they increased the subscription fee without offering any new features or resolving the major issues with their app and streaming. As if that wasn’t bad enough, they offer no costumer service at all! It is impossible to reach them when an issue arises. They are indifferent to their faults: for example, many paying costumers experienced serious issues while trying to watch the blue jays World Series, we did not get a refund or any form of compensation. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS GARBAGE, they will not deliver on what they offer

The worst app

This app is owned by the biggest telecommunications company in Canada and it’s absolute trash. Constantly freezes, screen sharing is nearly impossible, gotta log back in you account all the time. Get it together
