THE most frustrating app!
If it’s not crashing, it’s not loading or there’s no sound or it refuses to play the live feed and will only start from the pre-game. I have never had a glitch free experience with it!
If there was another way to watch the Blue Jays and the Edmonton Oilers, I wouldn’t waste my time or money as this app is aggravating beyond measure!!!

Signing in is ridiculous
I would much rather not give Sportsnet my money. Resubscribing should not take 30 min. Couldn't log in on my phone or my tv so had to do it on my computer. So frustrating. I don't mind supporting and paying to watch ufc or any other sport but Sportsnet does not deserve to profit. There are no other options that are legal in Canada. You guys need to call Netflix to learn how to run a streaming app.

Terrible App
Live stream stuck on loading screen, Air play keep disconnecting and glitching. I have to use my laptop and cast the web version to my TV. With the fee doubled in 3 years, can you put more effort into the ios app?
So overpriced.
70$ to watch a fight and just because I live in Canada when in the USA I could just go watch it for 12$ on paramount plus.
I absolutely hate sportsnet now and I will have nothing but bad things to say about it as long as I live.

Login / Subscription issues
Every time I seem to switch devices it literally says I have no subscription . I pay for a premium subscription and I only get to use it on my main phone😂. My I pad doesn’t work literally says I have to pay for another subscription when I’m paying 350$ for a premium subscription, What a joke 💀 I genuinely love sportsnet so much they gotta fix this stuff man.

Typical Sportsnet
Unable to sign in, cannot use. App crashed during World Series. Sportsnet has one job, however they are incompetent and can’t manage to do it.
Crashes constantly. Terrible experience
No native smart tv app. Have to cast. Always behind the play. Crashes all the time. Often takes several close/reopen attempts to get it working again. Has to be better options than this. It’s 2026.
Good app: suggested improvements for stream audio
Overall, I enjoy sportsnet and have subscribed to sportsnet plus to stream baseball games. I like the overall set up and that I can access the radio broadcast in the app!
My main issue is that while streaming with airpods, the app struggles to accommodate my headphones and always resets the stream. The audio will be missing with both my phone speaker or my airpods which causes me to need to reset the app.
I would love to keep using the app to stream but this has become a major hinderance when trying to watch my games. I would really appreciate the devs looking at how this can be prevented! Thank you :)

Guess there’s no other option
Sportsnet as a whole is overpriced garbage. Always pops up with error in the middle of streaming and says I’m in the US all the time and I can’t watch it.
The perfect extension of the TV app
After enduring multiple crashes of the absolutely craptastic Sportsnet app on my TV, I decided to try to use this one to cast the game instead. Of course it uses 2FA, and sent me an email with the code. But when I checked my email and came back to the app, I was met with the spinning donut (a favourite feature of the TV app too) that never ended. Tried a few more times but the same thing happened until I was locked out for trying too many times.
Sportsnet, we’re spending hundreds of dollars on you - spending a few to get some decent coders to make this thing work doesn’t seem like a lot to ask.

Buggy
This app constantly glitches and doesn’t pair with Apple TV easily. Half the time I can’t get games to stream and I feel ripped off for paying for Sportsnet. Make an app for Roku like all the other streaming services. I hate paying for this outdated technology.

If you’re going to offer a functioning app to the public at least support it. How about getting a real team to make your app work.

This app is really terrible. Usually has no audio when streaming, and has to keep restarting to get the audio back.
