Great app, would be even better with a few improvements
I've been using this app for a few years and find it very useful for keeping track of both regular and not so regular cleaning tasks.
A few modifications would make it even better:
- Ability to assign a day of the week to a task rather than rolling seven days, so that if you do it late one week, it still comes due on the correct day the next.
- If you could pause tasks, that would be helpful for those who travel. I find that when I go away, I end up with heaps of tasks overdue, which creates overwhelm and messes up the cleaning rhythm I had established.

Subscription required
The free version allows you to add up to 10 tasks, which was perfect for what I need. I’ve used this for a long time to keep me on top of chores while managing everything else in life. All of a sudden, this app has decided you need a subscription to check completed items off your list. Extremely greedy and deceptive to make it look like you can use the app free but requires a subscription in reality.

Gorgeous, clean, perfect!
Update: after using this app for a few weeks I am now rating it 5 stars. The few extra things I thought it needed turned out to be inessential & I’m really loving it just as it is. Cleaning my home has finally become manageable!
——————————————
After trying a few of these cleaning apps I chose this one for its uncluttered simplicity. It’s just for myself & I didn’t want games, timers, motivating cartoons, etc. I really love that you can customize the room & task names and simply switch from “room view” to “to do list”…not a zillion screen options.
For a one-time $5 purchase you can make unlimited tasks. Because of this, I was able to break my chores down into little bites (like ‘dust the tv’) so that my daily to-do list feels manageable with my full-time job.
But as pleased as I am with this app, there are a few things it needs to earn 5 stars from me.
Despite this, if you want a customizable, clean & simple UI this is the app for you.

Moved everything behind paywall?
I’ve had this app for years, always the free version and even though the amount of tasks I could set was limited I still used and enjoyed it. But now I can’t even check things off of my previously used list without a subscription? Get real. So sick is greedy developers. I’ve just deleted the app.
Free option ended??
I was happy using this in free mode with no more than 10 tasks. Now it seems it can’t be used at all in free mode, as I can’t get past the payment pop-up. Really disappointing as the simple version met my needs
Was great before update
The free version was perfect , just four rooms. Very simple. Would have happily paid a nominal one-off amount to keep using it as is. Now it’s updated and there is no free option at all, seems bizarre to me as it’s so simple it’s definitely not worth paying monthly for - even at its cheapest option.

How does it work for family???
So, I’ve downloaded, and set up tasks for each room. As a family of 4, I wanted to arrange tasks for each family member. I’ve subscribed as well for a yearly subscription as well, however, when my daughter downloaded the app, and clicked the link and accessed the tasks assigned for her room, it requested she also sign up for a subscription? I was under the impression that this was what I paid for with my subscription? There is no where online for me to ask these questions except here, and by my understanding from what I’ve read, the one subscription should cover our household. Would like to know how this works please?

Love the gorgeous & clean UI but a bit *too* simple

But as pleased as I am with this app, there are a few things it desperately needs to earn 5 stars from me:
1. Ability to edit a task’s ‘wheel of urgency’ once the task is created. If you make a mistake you have to delete the task and start over.
2. A log of completed tasks with dates PLEASE!!! We want proof of our hard work! This is especially needed if we accidentally check an unfinished task as completed, and helpful to monitor if we need to adjust a task’s schedule.
3. I haven’t done this yet, but another user says that if we finish a task early or late, the schedule does not adjust accordingly. How rude & rigid! We’re busy, we need some flexibility. (And another reason we need a dated log).
4. A vacation hold would be amazing so our chores don’t get backed up. We will get depressed & feel like failures.
Despite these drawbacks, if you want a customizable, clean & simple UI this is the app for you.

Improved productivity
It definitely helps with productivity and keeping the household accountable. I just would like to have a reporting function to see who completed which task.
Only 10 tasks before fee
The app overall is well put together, however, you’re only able to add 10 tasks before it asks you to set up a subscription plan. I was really excited to use it until I discovered it requires a subscription.
Great—until you go out of town.
I actually appreciate the simplicity of this app… right up until you bump up against your first extended vacation away from home. The lack of an ability to pause (come on developers, how hard can that one be??) means you come home to a pile of chores so big you may just opt to delete the app rather than face it!

Pass.
I had spotless unlimited. Then they got rid of it like some of us didn’t pay for it and require us to now pay monthly/annually. I found a different app to use
Simple and effective
This app has been a game-changer for our home. My husband never seems to see the things that need done and now that he’s linked to this, he will check things off without my asking.
It saves a lot of headache and hassel with time. If I have 10mins here and there, I will check the list and complete a task.
I also enjoy that it doesn’t bug me all the time.
This is the perfect solution for weekly tasks, but even more importantly those seasonal tasks that are very easy to forget until it’s too late.
I would like the following options.
1. The ability to edit tasks without having to delete and redo them.
2. The ability to add notes to tasks.
3. The ‘needs done’ circle should also have a better timestamp associated with it. It’s a little difficult to gauge how far out to set it at times.
Overall, easy to use and works well for us.

Simple, the way it should be
Excellent app, instantly subscribed. This app is just what I’ve been looking for. I’d suggest if possible with future updates allow users to select dates they want new tasks to start from. It’s very difficult to guess on the slider the day it’ll start! Also any way you can select days of the week a task can fall due? At the moment if you want to clean something on a Mon & Thurs you have to create two seperate tasks as the day feature doesn’t accomodate a 3.5 day option.
Otherwise, great simple app!

Have to pay to add tasks???
Can only put 10 tasks down or pay to add more. Looked like a great app but won’t be using.
So easy and helpful by frequency and room.
I’ve been using this app for more than a year now and it’s perfect for building a todo list as things get dirty. For example, I have “vacuum the dining room” as every four days, and “clean out the fridge” as every three months, and the system works perfectly to bring these items up when they are due, track how long overdue they are, and change the icon based on the ratio (being 4 days behind on cleaning the fridge isn’t as serious as being 4 days behind on vacuuming the dining room). I used to try to track cleaning tasks on a calendar but it was a disaster, primarily because it didn’t have any flexibility.

Helpful but not flexible
Handy for organizing cleaning tasks by room and priority. I have encountered two issues though that reduce usefulness. The first is needing to delete a task to change the schedule. The “wheels” you use to select the schedule are not precisely translated into days when you initially set up tasks. If you realize you were off on your selection there is no way to adjust the schedule to make sure you are, for example, doing all of the bathroom tasks on a single day. The second is there is no smart rescheduling. There is no
option to delay a task if you realize it isn’t needed. If you are early or late on marking a task complete, it also does not reset the due date for the next recurrence. So if you noticed something was dirty early and clean it, and mark it complete, it won’t move the schedule up. And if you are late a few days (vacation, life, wasn’t in need of immediate cleaning, etc), it doesn’t push the schedule back. These issues mean that the schedule can get out of sync very quickly.

BEST SIMPLE CLEANING TOOL EVER
This is the BEST SIMPLE cleaning tool ever! I absolutely love it. Set it up Room by room, add your own list of chores per room, set a time frame and follow it daily. ITS AWESOME!!
Useless
I wasted a ton of time entering everything into this app. When I try to use it there’s no option to mark a task complete to restart the cycle. I have a bunch of red exclamation marks and when I click on the task it gives me a checkmark. However, there’s no way to save and if I go out and then back into the room the red mark is still there. I’ve tried to find help to see what I’m doing wrong and there’s no help anywhere. Waste of time and money!
