Ridiculous
Every time I open the app it asks if I want to turn on push notifications. I do not. I never do. But it asks every time before it even allows me to use the app. I dont understand why this is something I need to answer every single damn time.
Great idea but needs work.
It’s a great idea, we were really excited to hear about it. That didnt last very long, it just doesn’t seem to work and there is no way to get any help.
Doesn’t track
The tracker doesn’t work. It just says “no recent bus location”. How helpful is that?…
Terrible app
My kid has 3 routes and only one ever shows up randomly, about 20% of the time, and it's never correct. No ETA is given either. Waste of space. Don't bother downloading.

The idea is great, but this app does not work. Every year my school district pushes us to use this app and every year the issues are the same. For the past 12 years, this app has been glitchy when it does work and it has only actually worked maybe 10%. The map always states that there are no recent locations and all you get is an empty map or if you do see your bus it will be stopped in the same spot for 10 minutes. I wish our district would choose a different more reliable app for this concept.

Needs more options
All only allows you to track four routes. If you have even two kids at different schools in activities, that’s six routes between AM, PM, and after activities. It’s a nice idea that could be a great resource, but I guess since it doesn’t make anyone any money there’s no drive to fix or improve anything.

Do Not Use!
I missed my bus because nothing happened on the app. This app is terrible and should not be a thing.

This is the worst app! If you are charging $30 for each bus in our school system to track the busses, then the school is being screwed.if I could give a negative rating I would. The app has never worked. I have it on multiple devices, have entered the school code and route multiple times and nothing gets fixed! No bus is ever shown. I highly recommend NOT to use this app.

Does not update fast enough
Setting the app was very easy, no login or account needed. Just enter the school code and the bus route. That is where the good ends. The location lags about 5 minutes and the app updates location every 40 seconds or so. The first day I saw the bus not move for 10 minutes or so, but the clock was still running. I thought the bus had break down or gotten into an accident. Nope, the app was just not refreshing the location. The notification do not function, there is no alert the bus arrived or a way to configure options.
It would be nice to get an alert saying “ the bus is on route ETA 3 minutes” or something configurable. It would be nice if the refresh rate was less than 5 seconds and was accurate to 100feet or so. It would be nice to get notified the bus arrived at school or just departed school. Again configurable options.
Good concept terrible execution. Totally missing on what it advertises to do, which is reduce time wasting at the bus stop.

Always Down
This app is very unreliable. Most of the time it is down and does not track where your bus is. When it works it works fine but that’s rarely.
Doesn’t work
I’ve been trying to use this app for two days and it isn’t working for me. Can I have some support?
Customer service is STELLAR!
Probably the biggest compliment I could give is to the customer service department. They provided me above and beyond service any time I have experienced app glitches. This app is new to our district, so growing pains are to be expected. Too often, people throw their hands in the air and complain about an app before trying to problem solve... they expect instant gratification, I suppose.
I was initially that parent who was frustrated and angry when they app wasn’t working. I got in touch with customer service who solved the issue in 5 minutes. My children ride a bus to and from the school I teach in. This app is a lifesaver in alerting me when they are approaching in the event I am in a meeting. I don’t need to waste time “waiting” - the gps is on point.
Before you blast this app or quit - please take the time to reach out to them. They actually want to help and are asking for your feedback. I have not been paid to endorse them in any way - I’m genuinely pleased with my experience.

THIS APP ROCKS!!!
I downloaded this app to see where the bus is (I ride the bus), Let me tell u, this app is the best thing my school district has purchased so far (accept for my teachers)!! Even thought there is a glitch every once in a while, it saves me from missing the bus (which my parents love) and from standing in the cold, making my mom be late for work, and making my dad wait around for 30 minutes because the bus was late. And you can't forget how cute the logo (aka Spot, my crush 😍😍) is . ROCK ON SPOT!!! And thanks so much to SpotMyBus for making this AMAZING app!!

Unreliable (Still...)
(Another) Update: Don’t get your hopes up. The app still isn’t working consistently. It works on some days, it doesn’t work on others. After the most recent iOS update, I decided to reinstall the app. Now, it doesn’t even recognize the bus route and group we received from the school (even though I screenshot it before reinstalling).

It finally works
After months of nothing the latest update fixed whatever glitch and now I can see where my kids buses are

Not reliable
This app would be so awesome if it actually worked. I have not been able to track my child’s bus more than 10 times the entire school year! Sure hope our school district didn’t pay slot of money for it!
Stopped working
It used to work and we enjoyed it. Now just freezes. Reinstall didn’t solve the issue. Hoping for an update from developers
Great App
Performs what it is designed for. Couple improvements would make it perfect.
- allow user to designate a location to alarm for bus arriving.
- when parent selects bus, take the view to where the bus is located. Too much emphasis on where user is located.
