SpringNotes User Reviews

Excellent

Works as described. Takes a little getting used to when managing parent child relationships. But carries loads of info. Please add the ability to add pictures and an undo button for iPhone.

Response from developer

Thank you for the nice review. We are working on pictures for a future release and the last release now has support for externally referenced images. Undo support on iPhone where applicable within the editor works with the normal "shake to undo" at the moment and we will look into the usability of a button if space allows.

Promising app, looking forward to updates

Works well so far. I look forward to other functionalities like attachment of photos (especially batch photos), and also more themes. I would also like the line spacing to be more fine-tuned, like .5 spacing. Also, better looking icons for the folders would be nice. Overall, syncing is good and this looks promising. Good luck developers!

Thank you for the positive review. We really appreciate your feedback and love hearing about your experience with SpringNotes. Basic external image support has now been added and we are working on local embedded images for a future release. We agree that line spacing could be made more precise and will look at making it more fine grained.

SammyDuck

Really do like this foldable text outliner with drag-and-drop paragraphs (within the document). Great for structuring long manuscripts, esp. in split screen with research notes or other material on the other side.

Feature Wish-list:

1. Inline insertion (markdown) of photos/images, with easy resizing (handles to pull) and alignment (left, center, right).
2. Better/more font choices. Rendering is good but readability could be better, I believe, with better choices.
3. Ability to easily split and merge note docs to create new docs.
4. Extensive drag-and-drop capability across split screen.

This is a relatively new app. One to watch.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this nice review. We love hearing how the app is used and that it is appreciated. You have some great suggestions and we will take them on board. FYI We are already working on basic image support and have just released a new version that has more font choices which we think work well with SpringNotes.

A nice note-taking app with task management

If you're looking for a note-taking app like Bear, but want it to have more robust task management features, SpringNotes may be a good choice for you. It still needs a little polishing, and it doesn't yet have linking and back-linking among notes or I would give it five stars.

Springing into action

I heard about this from a project collaborator. Took me a short time to navigate but once i saw the logic flow, I was a convert. Great idea, rips on the competition.

Fantastic review, thank you. The first review and it makes all the hard work worthwhile. You have discovered the magic we tried to create with SpringNotes and said it better than we ever could. Stay tuned for all the improvements we have planned.
