Overpriced

Bad rewards system overprices items

Only one issue for me…

The app is easy to use. I like that if you search specific items it’ll actually find it. I wish within the app it would notify you that your points are about expire. I lost a $6 reward cause I didn’t know some of my points were expiring. Didn’t know points expired in the first place.

App Glitchy For YEARS

This app has not allowed me to sign in for years. I type in my user name and password and it immediately kicks me back to the main screen. I don’t understand how a company so large can have an app that is useless and hardly works (as so many reviews reflect) and they do absolutely NOTHING about it .

Too many annoying popups

You try to bring up your barcode, and then apply it to the scanner, and a pop up appears, blocking the bar code. HOW ANNOYING!!! Poor design

Difficult to use

I downloaded the app, signed in and then it asked for my location so I put my zipcode. It doesn’t show show the Sprouts location that’s near me, it kept giving me the location that’s more than 10 miles away, even when I typed my address. And then, it wouldn’t allow me to add a shopping list/shop unless I choose a location. I am not going to a store that’s more than 10 miles away if there’s one that’s just miles from me. So I deleted the app, what good is an app if I can’t even see their store flyer?

Nope. 👎

After several years of not using the app—and deciding to re-download it—NOTHING has changed: the bugginess still hasn’t been fixed, and there is still no iPad compatibility… so I don’t use this app, and just use the website.

So annoying. 🙄

Great store, glitchy app

Sprouts is great and I love being able to shop in their app directly.
BUT it glitches so much.

App stinks

The app refuses to open in the store. I’d like to sign in that way instead of typing my phone # I. The keyboard is not only difficult to see because it is shoved way up under a cover but then I can’t watch the cashier ring up my purchases. The prices are not always correct especially on sale items.

complaint

the app
specifically makes an ad pop up over the rewards barcode after a few a seconds so you’re forced to look at it and close it to use the barcode! very annoying!

What Rewards?!

Useless except for using it as a shopping list. Coupons are on items I never buy and they don’t give you rewards for the items you do purchase.

Something went wrong

Definitely a glitch in the app. I keep trying to open it and get hit with a message that says “something went wrong”. I can’t access the app at all

Not working at all

I downloaded the app and all it does it saying something went wrong and that someone was notified.

Fake deals- don’t fall for them!!!

I just downloaded the app to make it easier to keep track of items I occasionally need from Sprouts, and I’m already annoyed seeing the “sales” and “deals”. For example, there is currently one plastered on the home page of the app saying “3 day sale BOGO mix and match chocolate bars”. If you do the math, they’ve inflated the price of all the chocolate so that when you buy two, you literally are paying full price for both. Proof? Sure. You can normally buy a Hu chocolate bar for roughly $4.50. Right now on the app they are $6. Half of $6 is $3. So when you apply the BOGO coupon, you pay a total of $9 (full price for two bars regularly), but they trick you into thinking you paid less than $12 which LOOKS like a deal. So what actually happened? They inflated the price to literally manipulate the consumer into believing they got a great deal, when in reality they got played. A REAL BOGO deal would be buying a bar for $4.50 and then getting the second for $2.25 for a grand total of $6.75. It’s such a shame that Sprouts pulls this. It’s exactly what other large retailers do these days because they’re so disgustingly greedy and stingy that they would rather trick their loyal customers than give honest savings. Don’t fall for these sales because if you do, it encourages them to continue their scams. Take the time to research and learn these tactics to avoid these bs “deals”. The ONLY reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because I appreciate that Sprouts carries certain items that would otherwise be much harder to find anywhere else.

What did you do with my grocery list???

There’s nothing MORE FRUSTRATING than getting to grocery store, opening up the app, and NOT SEEING THE LIST I JUST MODIFIED THE NIGHT BEFORE!!! I USED to use this app when shopping. NOW, my list is GONE!!! Whatever new update you all decided to make completely erased my whole list and moved everything into my cart. I do not order online. I don’t even use that option. I NEED MY GROCERY LIST!! Please fix this.
Unfortunately for you, I would’ve spent more money in your store…… had you not erased my list. SMH.

iPad app

I do online ordering a lot since I’m taking care of my mother. It’s a very nice feature that Sprouts offers. I wish though they would make an iPad app that works. The app that’s on the iPad seems like it’s intended for the phone. It only does portrait mode and won’t let me enlarge the screen. If I go to sprouts via the browser it pushes me to the sprouts app. So I delete the app on the iPad since it sucks.

Another issue with the app. When I go to pay it always ask me to verify the card I want to use. When I enter the security code it doesn’t like it. Says my payment can’t be verified. I have to go into my account delete the card re-enter the card and then accepts it. It has the zip code pre filled out which is the zip code for the store, not the zip code for the card. I don’t know if that’s why it’s not letting my card go through.

Makes shopping so much easier

We eat an animal based diet and sprouts is awesome for quality pasture raised Duroc pork, legacy chicken and grass fed beef. We do not use grain based foods or anything with seed oils. Its hard to avoid soy and canola at most store but Sprouts shows ingredient list quite clearly.

Doh!

First time download. Glitch won’t accept email address. Unable to create account.

Annoyingly unusable

Opened the app, searched for a product, got an overlay popup for something completely unrelated. Started scrolling through search results. Immediately got another “Hosting?…” popup for something I didn’t even care to read. Dismissed the popup. Scrolled through few more results. Got the same useless popup again. Deleted the app and ordered what I was looking for from Amazon.

Unable to create an account

I am unable to create a Sprouts account. I tried several time I ever had a Sprouts employee to help me. They need to update their app.

No Bonus Points

I really like shopping at Sprouts, but their rewards system is awful. Recently, I found out that I was not getting the bonus points - only base points - even though I have met the minimum requirements for the various offers. I have written to customer service multiple times, but to no avail!
