Thanks for your feedback. We’d like to clarify that the app cannot detect all camera types simply by placing the phone in front of them. The app uses several different detection methods, including network scanning, infrared light detection, magnetic field analysis, and Bluetooth device discovery. Depending on how the camera is powered and connected, some cameras may not be detectable by every method. If you can tell us what type of camera you tested with (Wi-Fi, wired, battery-powered, hidden camera, etc.), we’d be happy to help you test it properly and improve your experience.

We’re sorry for the confusion. Purchasing a subscription should immediately unlock the premium features associated with that subscription. If your purchase was successful but the app continued to show the paywall, this may have been caused by a temporary App Store or restore-purchase synchronization issue. Thank you for your review. Hidden cameras use many different technologies, and unfortunately no mobile app can guarantee detection of every camera on the market. Our app includes multiple detection tools designed to help identify common hidden cameras and surveillance devices, but results depend on the camera type, how it is installed, and whether it is connected wirelessly. If you’d like assistance, please contact us with details about the camera you tested.
