Crappy and buggy
This thing constantly sets itself to use the front camera, making it useless. It also constantly fails to save videos.
Change icon/home screen
Solid App. Please update.
Busted. App as "SV" is first to show up in search function. Someone pushes home button and app drops out to show what was happening. Change app icon to not be so identifiable. Or, drop to home screen upon exit.
Otherwise, works just as advertised.

Great app!
Does exactly what you want it to do. Captures those glorious moments in high definition, for up to 60 minutes at a time!
Great when it works.
Which is about 60% of the time. Other times it freezes and doesn't save the video.
Can't save or export videos
Do not buy until this is updated. This app used to be great, with OS6 I cannot save video. So I spent more for the in app purchase so I could save to video vault. I can now save in the app but I cannot export to my photos, and I can't email the video because it is too large. So I can't do anything with the video but watch on my phone. I sent an email to support but no reply.

Works Good!!
I tried and it does good. I like how you control how long to record. I love how I did a screen shot of my normal phone screen and used that as my display when I'm recording people without them even knowing. All they see is my main phone screen while they are being recorded. It does need upgrade for very low light, for when a TV is the only source of light. It would be perfect if that came out. Overall, I enjoy & use quite a lot.

Update needed
This app used to be awesome...best vid app I'd used...until I upgraded to IOS5 on my IP4. Now it crashes 9 out of 10 times. I'm really hopeful that there is an update soon because it would be such a shame to lose such a potentially great app. I wouldn't recommend purchasing unless you can verify that it has been repaired/updated for ios5. I would give 5 stars if it didn't crash!

It is not bad; it does crash once in a while but overall it gets the job done. Wished it supported 1080 hd realistically.

Really nice app. Can stealth record perfectly on iP4. I got some great videos from it. Gets 5 stars because it did what I needed. Few simple upgrades would help though. Most have been mentioned already in other reviews. Would like to see a video rotation option feature for saved recordings.
Home screen
This is a great app, it works really well with the upgrades. I would like to see it return to the home screen with your passcode, or at least return to the front page of your apps. Its a more natural look when you close out of recording.
Spy cam works!
A really good app, I would try to make the black screen a bit darker. It still looks like something is working in the background.
I would also like it to go to your home page when done recording instead of the camera page, this way if you inadvertently shut it in front of someone it looks like you just woke your phone.

Love this app
Like the tittle says! One suggestion auto record after the 1hr is passed. Id really like it to start another recording after it saves the 1st hour
Wow... really useful app!
Definitely worth having for when those moments when you need it. The plugin to surf websites while recording is pretty slick
Works but needs simple fix
I have both pic & vid versions and they both do the job. Love that I can create my own decoy screen.
Only problem I have is that it doesn't rotate the video to the proper angle when viewing. Sometimes the videos come out upside down.

The app is good. I really like the features and also i like how they update it with suggestions made by previous owners of this app.
My only suggestion would be:
-allow for recording to automatically start when motion/sound is detected
- this one might be to far out to do anything about, but it would make this app 1000x better if recording could continue when the iPhone is locked

This is a great application. Some improvements that will make it the BEST are:
1 Provide motion activated recording
2 Provide option for advance 8 character alpha numeric password for app and vault
3 Provide Auto Portrait / Landscape mode
4 Provide Zoom in feature
5 Provide change of Front to Back or Back to Front By TAP without going into settings
6 Provide option to reduce the size of red Recording Dot to smaller size dot. The red dot is too BIG.
7 Option to Activate the recording by remote telephone call from another telephone
8 Low light recording
9 Option to change the App icon picture and Name
10 Change the angle of recording to mislead people
If you can provide this it will be a million Dollar Application

Does what it says
The customizable screens are a huge win as are the recording options. I do ask for a few user friendly options such as customizable gestures, like shake to change cameras or to stop/start.
Best app but need fullscreen
I would like it if it had a bogger screen when playing back video or to go back to the vertical stance when holding it up, or just increase the screen size on horizontal or something, i would like it bigger. Thank you, otherwise this app is the best ive found out of lots.
The new v1.2 update has problems
Update: I updated the app to the new v1.2 and to my disappointment, I found that the "Vault" feature it's not part of the upgrade, you need to PAY extra for it. That's not disclosed in the description list, and I feel it's not a cool way to deal with customers. Now the app is free, so those who DL it can pay the extra cost for the vault without incurring in any additional charges. But I paid for the app, and I feel that paying extra for an updated feature is not right.
In addition, the update deleted ALL my alibis, that after a lot of hard work, I had put together in the proper sequence to make the video recording as stealth as possible. Now I have to start all over again. Very aggravating.
Because of the above, I took away three stars from my previous review, and went back to the previous version until the developer fixes the problem, and makes the vault a free addition of the paid app.
Also, since my last review, I've found another way to move my spy vids and pics to another app, and have them pw locked in it. So I really don't need the Vault feature that bad.
I won't update this app ever again. Can't trust the developer.
