“Lifetime” license wasn’t so “lifetime”

I purchased a lifetime license for this way back in 2019. Now when I try to restore the purchase, it now wants me to subscribe annually. Reported to Apple.

Response from developer

Hi, restore purchase should absolutely restore your lifetime purchase. Feel free to contact me via kyle@hankinsoft.com and I can help get this sorted out. Reaching out again, just wanted to verify that this is all sorted out for you?

Powerful database app on the go! Plus 2 feature requests

I have been using this app for a few years now. This is truly beautiful software. I love that you use this with both MariaDB & MySQL. I was able to connect directly to my MacBook and access the MySQL server I had installed from the command line. I was also able to access the database for my WordPress servers. Very powerful tool, highly recommend it for developers or people trying to learn SQL in a practical way. My feature request would be to add a a global search (similar to Spotlight or VS Code's Cmd+P) similar to TablePlus’ search called "Open Anything." That way you can quickly jump to any table, view, or function by typing a few letters. Redis support would be nice too. SQL Pro studio is perfect for all your database GUI needs!

No oracle support

The Mac app has oracle support. Bummed to see the mobile app does not.

Response from developer

Hi! Just wanted to note that the iOS (iPhoen and iPad) version now supports Oracle. If you get the chance, please give it a try and consider updating your review. Cheers!

An essential app for a developer!

This app is my go to all day at work, and it’s great to have it on my phone automatically synced with the same connections so I can quickly jump onto an emergency.

If you work with databases, don’t go without this one!

Works but UX could be improved

The best SQL function that I could find on the app store mainly due to lack of any other working alternatives. There are many UX issues that could be fixed though. The color scheme with dark blue text is illegible with dark mode. There is no way to configure the default 1000 default limit. Auto-completing keyboard shortcuts could be really helpful when using with a keyboard.

A great way to work with MySQL

A few months ago, I needed to find an iPad database tool for a project I was working on. After a bit of research, I decided to try SQLPro Studio, and it turned out to be a great decision.

Nice user-friendly interface, good feature set, and it easily helped me to do what I needed to do for my class project. It's definitely worth the money for the subscription, and they even have a student discount through their website. I highly recommend it.

Decent DB access on the go!

I’ve been looking for a good iOS solution to access MySQL databases on the move, and I think this is it. Other apps have been disappointing, this was easy to setup and intuitive to use. Nice work!

Really best of its own...

This really is one of the BEST in its class.
Not only are the functions great, but even the service is ingenious. Problems are solved quickly and professionally. I really feel like a human being here. Thank you and keep up the good work...

Awesome app

SQLPro Studio is a really great app. I like that with a single license you get both Mac and iOS app full functionality, and the price is quite good given the possibilities offered by SQLPro studio. I mostly use the Mac app, this iOS version saved me a few times.
The interface is easy to navigate, intellisense with autocompletion save a lot of times and the iCloud sync has proven to be really useful.
Plus, support is too-notch and this is really a huge point in favour or SQLPro compared to similar apps

Needs work on iOS

Decent app. Paid for full version. Am not seeing views from schemas other than public. Tables do show up from other schemas. Functions don’t work.

Response from developer

Hi. Which type of database are you seeing the views missing from? Also, could you provide some details on `Functions don't work`? Let me know and I can help sort it out. There is a support form at https://github.com/hankinsoft/SQLPro/issues which might be easier than replying here.

Garbage

Can’t even do SELECT statements without spending £100. Straight to bin

Perfect for on-call

This app is perfect for developers on call. Sometimes when I go out of town, I just take my iPad. This app makes it possible. I also use this on a Mac and it is a worthy replacement for Microsoft SSMS.

Doesn’t recognize basic SQL syntax

The app does not interpret SQL scripts properly

Superb!

The best SQL client for macOS and iOS/iPadOS. Easy to set up, your connections info are stored in the cloud, supports most DB engines and feature set are consistent for both desktop and mobile versions; I’ve been using the app it for several years and it is constantly being improved.

Watch Out - Poor Billing Practices!

Author uses FastSpring for billing for MacOS version. If you ever cancel and re-subscribe, you will be double charged. No contact info on website.

Best of its own

I really love this package, it makes your iPad a seriously pro device for using SQL
