Great concept, poor implementation
I’ve had no end of trouble connecting to my chess.com account, because it uses an authentication method, not supported by the app so I had to create a new account entirely that used email authentication only. Lichess works better, but neither of these seem to have any games popping up recently, I wait forever, and just give up. I think the devs gave up on this product.

Wow - for the novice and Master
In my humble opinion, this is a great play-partner, trainer and opponent. Especially cool are when the pieces are moving on their own. Super value and looks great.

This app is DEAD
Bought my grand kingdom set about 6 years ago. The board is cool, but the app is absolutely atrocious. Good luck finding anyone who will actually play against you in the square off app that isn’t cheating. If you do manage to pair against somebody (even if they are a cheater) consider yourself lucky. Most times I want to use this app I will wait for literal hours in between games. On top of that the support/ service side of square off does not care about you or their own product.

Not a bad concept - poor execution
I purchased the Square Off Pro with extremely high hopes for it. The App is okay at best, nowhere near as good as popular chess apps like Chess.com or Lichess. Also, canceling a Plus subscription is an absolute pain.

Grand Kingdom chess set
I have had the Grand Kingdom chess set for several years. It has been working perfectly. Lately I had a software glitch. I emailed support and they contacted me and resolved the issue very quickly. I was impressed with their knowledge and response.
Too old
This app has not been updated for a couple of years now and it is too slow missing various functions and features!
Moves don’t get registered
There are times when opponent makes a move on chess.com or lichess which do not register on the Square-off board and you get the impression that opponent is still thinking and as a result you wait for his move until you run out of time and lose. Also it is not possible to analyse games played on lichess or chess.com on the square-off board.

Since some updates to Chess.com, it is no longer possible to play on Chess.com. Since the app hasn't had an update in 6 months, I'm thinking of ditching the Squate Off Pro for a device that will be directly compatible with Chess.com.
