My favorite place to watch squash.
I love the highlights, and if I have time, I'll watch a full match too! I also like watching live, and it's a cool way to keep up with the sport moving around the world. Also super affordable and a nice way to support the sport!
Unstable, requires constant logging in, won’t cast to TV
The content is great when it works, but when attempting to watch via TV app on smart TV running Google operating system, the app requires you to login daily, which is super annoying, and it doesn’t even load the matches consistently. Half of the time, the app is just frozen and won’t play videos. I expect more from a service of this price.

Airplay fail
On IOS devices Squash match videos posted to the squashtv website or viewed on the SquashTV App fail to connect fully to Airplay devices. Only the sound will play … no video. So rather than watch a match on an Airplay enabled big screen TV one is consigned to watching on iPhone or at best iPad or to use third party casting software and/or devices. Really really abject work at SquashTV

Sync issues
Very regularly the video and audio are out of sync. Makes it very unpleasant to watch. Restarting and then going back to that point in the video usually fixes things, but we shouldn’t need to have to do that

After the days play has concluded it takes a long time for them to have replays available. I couldn’t watch at 6pm, came to watch at 9pm and still nothing there
They should have a look at the F1 app and see how I am able to start from the beginning of the broadcast at any stage and skip to any parts I want

PSA SQUASHTV as an experience on the whole as a long term customer has been a constant disappointment.
Technical issues are an everyday occurrence which when the subscription is so expensive should not be happening with such regularity.
I recently encountered a further issue while trying to update my subscription and subsequently E-mailed SquashTV on two separate occasions which have both been completely ignored.
Would have hoped for a better service.

Great coverage which in can watch on tablet/phone
I’m sure I’m in the majority who just want to be able to use my remote control on the tv and access the app like on any other channel
Most of the time does not open video
I think the developers need to fix lots of issues
1. Most of the time does not open live video. Gives me an endless message loading video
2. It does not show the schedule.
3. The live event had wrong title. We are in day 3 of Sprott championship and the title is day 1.
4. Live event showed up 1 hour before the event. On the desktop version it shows couple of days before the event

Any update on fixing casting to Apple TV??

Chromecast feature very very bad
Just thought I would update this review as it’s been over 3 years now and the chromecast feature still glitches unless you cast from a pc, casting from an iPhone or iPad still very patchy and glitchy. Really poor service and holding the spot of squash back not having a service that is on a par with just about any other sport. I’m still paying for this service as my kids are juniors and need to see the pros playing but it is frustrating. My years old review is below:
I have repeatedly paid for this service and messaged Squash TV about the Chromecast feature not working properly. It has not been fixed after about 2 years. It stops and starts and glitches horribly when you Chromecast from a phone or iPad to a TV via Chromecast. I have up to date new iPhones and iPad and they are all the same. It is like Squash TV is paying for an inferior version of Chromecast API on their App. Every other Chromecast on Netflix, YouTube works perfect. I am not sure why they can’t fix this as you need to watch a sport like squash in HD without it glitching every 3 seconds. Super frustrating as we have no other options to watch live squash and follow the PSA tournaments. Please fix!

Inconsistent Airplay
50% of time only streams audio to airplay devices. Loses controls for fast forward on iPhone. Loses fullscreen on iPhone. Very frustrating app!!!
Good squash bad app
I love to watch squash but the app is not that good with many problems. It has difficulty with launching, difficulty with restarting the game if you stop at certain point. Also a lots of issue to mirror the games to the TV including Apple TV from my iPhone. Usually it’s easier to go to the website.
So much potential.
No way to continue watching without having to try and find your place from memory. No already watched or watch history (doesn’t work). No player profiles. No way to easily search for tournaments. No way to distinguish from a thumbnail whether a video is highlights or a replay. No ability to be logged in on multiple devices. When are SquashTV going to add features to the app that are the basics on all others? This app could be SO GOOD!!!

Would be even better if there was a way for the video to resume to where you last ended, otherwise it’s amazing.
No chromecast
App will not chromecast to tv , very annoying as that is the only reason i would really want to use it.
Login issues
This really is a terrible app. Problems logging in to begin with. That got fixed it seems, but then problems streaming to my TV. Now the only entry is the next match - no history of matches so I can’t watch any replays.

I keep getting logged out while watching matches in replay. Then when I log back in I have to start from the beginning of the match. This needs to be rectified for the app to work properly.

Please please PLEASE fix casting to Apple TV
Slow hand clap for SquashTV, I found a way to get it to cast to my Apple TV box, by tapping back and forth from phone to tv a couple of times, then it would work with some other little tricks. So just now I’m forced to update the app, and guess what, the old trick I was so pleased with no longer works. As soon as I got onto say IG, the feed connects instantly to the TV, back to the Squash app, only sound, can’t get the picture to take over onto the TV. Infuriating. I love my Squash, I like the coverage, but if I cannot cast it to my Apple TV, what is the point?! I even sold my old chromecast as I thought I wouldn’t need it anymore, that probably wouldn’t work either by the sound of it. Please fix it, somehow, someway?!
